Why i cant enter Twisting Corridors layer 2?

Hi! Yesterday i did with my lvl 70 character the Twisting Corridors Layer 1 for my first time.

And when i tried to enter the Layer 2, selecting it and pressing “Climb”, the game says that “i dont meet the requirements for the chosen dungeons.”

I’ve been looking for the requirements and i cant find them.

I did 4 layers of “The Jailer’s Gauntlet” with no problem.

Any help? Thanks.

Sorry, I never heard of this being a problem, and a search turns up nothing.

Generic advice to anyone hitting an unexpected error:

  1. Log all the way out of the game.
  2. Disable all addons as you log back in
  3. Try again.

I just sent my mage into Torghast, and she can get into Level 2, so it’s not that Twisting Corridors globally bugged.

What is your character? Do you actually have the achievement for Level 1? Might the game have not recorded it? Can your character enter Level 1?

I did it with no addons. I’ve already done the 1 layers twice and i cant enter layer 2.

“You dont meet the requirements for the chosen dungeons.”

I have the “Twisting Corridors: Layer 1” archievement since 19/12/22.

As i said, i didnt have the same problem with “The Jailer’s Gauntlet” i did all the 4 layers on the way.

I hope someone can explain me the requirements :-/

I’ve checked everything I can check, and I have no idea.

There is this article, but not completing the quest line should only lock you out of Level 1. If you completed that, I can’t think you should be locked out of Level 2. But since I can’t see your Retail character, I can’t check anything about it. https://us.battle.net/support/en/article/281593

Accurding to the quest tracker at

you haven’t completed the quest chain to enter Torghast.

According to Wowhead, it is

and if you look on the right, you will see the whole questline.

I DO NOT KNOW if this is the problem. I remember Blizzard mucked about with it during 9.1.5-9.2.

And as tfar as I can figure, not completing it should block you from Twisting Corridors at all. But here we are, so it can’t hurt for you to do the chain

and try again.

I can finally enter the second layer.

All i did was pick a covenant, follow the starting chain that explain all the shadowlands features, until they send you back to Mograin.

Then Mograin gives you the “Rescue Baine” chain. After rescuing Bane and finishing that qs. i can finally enter the second layer.
