I don’t get it, the only way to win on alliance is if you carry the whole BG.
When I play BGs on horde, I can just chill and my teammates will help me to win. However when I play on alliance, it seems like people try to lose intentionally and the only way to win is if I play good enough to compensate 5-6 players doing nothing the whole BG.
Also everytime I check the scoreboard, you can just clearly see that the horde does significantly more damage every damn time. Makes me ask myself why the average alliance player is so much worse than the average horde player.
I’ve only played BG’s on Alliance & agree there’s many games where >50% of the team seem clueless. There’s games where players afk or actively help Horde win & no shortage of newbies & greenies.
But I average 50-50 w/l -so I roll with the punches & have a 1m queue time.
I have the same feeling, just left a Gilneas where a friend and I dealt twice as much as the 8 other dudes combined. It’s a constant in every battleground, but as I feel like it happens more often to Horde to deal “more” (while still being abysmal) I wouldn’t say that in the end Alliance is that much terrible than Horde. I guess it evens out on a large number of battlegrounds.
I’m not convinced about the Demographics factor, but then I’ve not played any BGs on horde side for a few years now.
What I do see on Alliance side are:
players quitting the BG as if the first setback to their side means a definite loss. For example, failing to cap the WS in IoC straight away - guaranteed 25 to 50% of the raid leaves shortly after.
players of high honor level (200+) constantly spamming “stupid alli” or “alli debils” throughout the BG. Could someone explain to me how this helps ? At least help me to attack this target, or help me defend somewhere would be a better option. Not a demoralising shout on your own teammates every chance you get.
Said it before on other BG posts, it’s all in the attitude and tactics. Going into a BG believing you’ve a slim chance of winning it means you’ve already lost.
Gear and skills of the players involved comes second IMO.
Human racial was rekted, most player get frightend so they fast faction changed. Until this trash company not remove from pvp enviroment the race liek racials, and gave us choice beetween some, like “pvp trinket”, the pvp will dying like this all the time. Sad part they make money from our suffering with the racial/faction changes.
But it is easy, around 6-8PM check the arena ladder on horde and alliance, sometimes horde have double ammount of 3v3 arena in lfg, and once horde had 4x more rated battleground team in lfg then alliance XD. This clown company kill the game with mindless decisions i mentioned above.
So when u suffer in random bg-s, just remember most of the useful player long ago went to horde, leave us to rot here with this plaguebringer players.
actualy hell of a lot of the quitters and afkers in alliance bgs are horde whit merc mode on that only come to troll alliance for some reason, I decided to check some of the names in a few bgs, of those who did not realy do anything or flamed and quitted after 1 min, over half of them where horde merc players.
What is the logic the make a group with 60-70k hp players, and the enemy ha all 160k+? Is it really hard to modify the random group maker to make groups by item level? The BGs are boring and frustrating, because the stronger team annihilate the other one, no real fight…
That’s why templates & scaling were a great idea.
We’d actually fight a fair match on an even playing field.
But some people (M+ / high end Raiders) want gear to matter - which only really benefits the few at the top & makes the match completely unbalanced from the start for everyone else - encouraging people to afk & quit.
Grouping people by ilvl has exactly the same end result as scaling & templates (a balanced match where dps is relative).
Because too much noobs playing for the alliance. Now while I’m waiting for January 23 to reactivate wow subscribtion, I play on a trial account and play battlegrounds at level 20-29. When I play for the horde, I see lots of twinks. But also, I see people who just doing BGs to level up. But these players know that there are weapon/neck enchants that help you to level faster and make leveling more fun (Elemental Force for example).
But when I play for the alliance…it’s just a disaster. I see less twinks and more people who do BGs just for faster leveling. And they don’t know about enchants, they have less heirlooms and often white gear and no rings/trinkets. And then these people level up to level 120 and play BGs for the alliance. No wonder they lose.
or they could just give people a rating in random bgs, where the game atleast tries to match you whit people at similar rating, that would meen those who aint so good at bgs, should have lower chance to meet higher end people.
Sometimes you get a 385 ruski premade and that sucks. But most of the time you don’t, so just do objectives and kill healers, really its not that hard.
true though, the other team would be in same situation also so it should be quite equal I think, i am not saying it would work at all, becuse there could be ways to exploit the system big time, but then again it does work in other games also, where you can que solo and get a rating, so it should work in wow to.
Whether the other team could possibly be in the same situation is not the issue mate, it’s the fact that players would be getting punished for something they took no part in.
