I`ve been thinking doing the campaign . Why is Ardenweald a lush forest ?
We are dealing with sleeping and rebirth .
We have the winter queen .
We have her sibling who presumably is summer queen (Elune right ?) .
Wouldn`t it have made more sense for Ardenweald to have been a frozen forest . Something similar to Narnia when they exit the closet for the first time ?
I think it would have been great to have a cold pristine and frozen environment in the shadowlands .
Add to that , in almost every culture which has access to winter , it is considered the time when the lands and the trees sleep and prepare for rebirth on the next spring .
I have a feeling that was the original intention with the “winter queen” , the deer-like in habitants covered in lots of fur .
Imagine if we go to lands of Elune , what will we find ? I mean we are already in never-ending summer paradise here . Why would anyone even wonna leave to go to the mortal plane anyways .
