Why is Ashran so obviously Horde favoured?

Imagine giving one faction a 15% stat boost which the other faction doesn’t have access too xD

Also the Horde mage boss is soooo much harder than the Alliance boss

I get that blizz needs to babysit Horde players because they are bad, but putting a 15% stat boost right next to their base? Like seriously? lol

While in the other forum thread alliance players are favored in WM and alliance players state that they deserve to be favored.

ok.
Boomer…

Yeap, exactly since 2004 the game was horde favored. Even EMFH was 100% horde favored for 6 years or so? Yup.

How about the current alliance racials that are better in PVP and sim higher in PVE? Thats a horde bias too i guess?

Whinebabies will always whine xD

Stop making Alliance look pathetic. Seriously, you people are like recruiting sergeants for the Horde.

Ever since I’ve played WoW this has been the common story:

Alliance: Wins AV most of the time
Also Alliance: It’s not Alliance biased, cry baby hordes (they literally changed the map back in like WoD or Legion to make it more even)
Also Alliance: WHAT!? WHY IS ASHRAN SLIGHTLY HORDE BIASED!? HORDE FAVORITISM AGAIN!!

They removed mass polymorph ability from Alliance mage next patch, so it favours Horde heavily, just like Korrak’s Revenge where Alliance had 5℅ winrate because of mercenaries.

Epic bgs have alot of mercenaries in Alliance group so you are already behind from the start + weaker mage, makes ashran almost impossible to win.

Advice, don’t play epic bgs, to be honest bgs, play rated battleground if you will without mercenaries.

I havn’t touched mercenary mode since early legion but then Horde mercenaries had a positive effect on alliance win rate, whats changed?

Most people only care about winning so I doubt 95% of alliance lost battles is caused by mercenaries who wanted to actively lose

Some things may have edge case advantages and seem to ‘sim’ better, but it’s too little too late. The numbers of Horde and experienced players on their side is just too big PVP and PVE wise.

You can see it in any BG. Like the Arathi BG, both teams head to Lumber Mill as always (whichever team wins Lumber Mill almost always goes on to win the match, it’s a strong indicator.) It is the Horde team though who plays like a team, keeping even their weakest member alive and not splitting up. While alliance who is filled by casual transmog obsessed people who get easily broken apart and picked off one by one.

When they will fix AV ally favored?

i swear, saw the other day some guy crying and being overdramatic calling blizzard horde biased after the cinematic of anduin being evil anduin while the jailer controls him, just because finally in like years alliance leader got screwed over its enough to scream horde biased while forgetting we changed countless warchiefs and we almost had siege of orgrimmar 2.0 back in BFA

i don’t believe its the majority of ally players but yikes some of you need stop to be overdramatic about that whole “faction bias” thing

Alliance racials were better in BFA, too. The main advantage the Horde has is core horde players are simply better. I’m talking about those who won’t faction swap to gain a 1% advantage.

The reason why like 90% of top 100 guilds are Horde is the players and the attitude. It’s culture and it is incredibly interesting to see culture developing in the game. lt has been almost a full generation that’s developed a culture in WoW and by now, Blizz needs to do more than give the Alliance a slight advantage here and there to change it.

What needs to change is Alliance player attitude. The players must change. What the Alliance want at their core is to bring Horde culture in. Which is directly antithetical to what the Alliance stands for in the lore. It’s incredibly interesting, mate.

Exactly this. I see it in most random unrated PVP games I go into. For example, it may say that alliance in X match has two more healers on Isle of Conquest. But when that team faced off with the horde team, they were split apart easy.

Meanwhile horde remain… as a horde of players not fraying apart and keeping their weaker players up. The alliance folds, alliance start leaving, another Gee-Gee for the Horde.

Unfortunately alliance attracts far more casual players. Mount collectors, transmog collectors. There’s not enough progress focused people for them in high end PVE and PVP.

I have a Horde toon and when i want to experience real PVP I switch to it. Most matches I experience on my Horde toon are a win and there’s so much more team work.

I was playing alliance too but as i massively found alot of childish players i rerolled horde. No intention to offend you or the faction, but that is what forced me to reroll. Also you can take a look at the op for example… Prime example.

I dont do PVP or BG’s unless there is a great need like it was on BFA, did plenty of BG’s as MW and as a fat geared Disc in mercenary mode and i had no complains with the alliance at all.

Allthough the alliance forum warriors have a problem with their faction whilst i found it perfectly working for me back then.

PS
When i was playing as a 12/12M geared Disc, i was in for the transmog reason to get marks of honor  Yet you have to blame the alliance right? :stuck_out_tongue:

I changed from ally in BFA to horde in SL and i will say this re: pvp, alliance often need what doesn’t need to be said on horde, to be said.

For example stuff like “watch the flag” “focus on stall, just detap the node” “don’t chase the kill” need spelling out for alliance, someone needs to do it, whereas in horde there seems to be a lot more commonsense about the “general rules” and group chart is largely for calling out incs and tactic changes.

I mean even the notion of calling out incs, I swear I see it so much less on alliance. It’s a basic principle of node-based BGs, you tend to call out when a node needs forces. That’s what the people who stand around the middle are for, to respond! Not chase kills on that random hordie who "is totally not trying to lure you away whilst my teammates backdoor the node behind you, please don’t attack me a lone solo mage who totally won’t invis on you  "

Totally true, but even if you call it out, it’s not listened to all the time.

The amount of time I see Alliance take an objective then immediate en-mass abandon it, leaving it open to any old horde to solo take it… lol. Then proceed to move from one objective to another, abandoning the prior one each time. Only to end up with none and a big fat loss screen.

Please stop crying about alliance while they have %70 winrate because of every single newbie flocking to horde after seeing alliance players whining about everything and how pathetic their faction are. Alliance is not pathetic , most alliance players are

horde does that too and why
think queue for epics is sometime rigged
all they do is ignore objectives honor leech etc

this cant be"new players" and that they farm loss honor to get"gear"

How is an outright 15% stat boost and a stronger boss slightly?

It’s too late. The damage is done. Any new player Googling which faction to play will see nothing but whine from Alliance players.
