Why is BFA content not soloable?

If we want to get technical, Mythic Éonar is still nowhere near as hard as the mage tower challenges, but I can definitely see how it’s ureasonably hard for most players (the execution isn’t as hard, but you HAVE TO know the perfect route), and it’s disproportionally hard compared to the rest of the raid, or any Legion content for that matter, with the possible exception of Mythic Kil’jaeden.

We don’t need it to be a one-shot. Just increase the time allowed to reach each point.
I don’t know exactly how it works. A friend and I tried it once. I stood in the middle killing mobs and my friend tried to do the clicking each thing. He said he saw them despawn just as he got to them.

The point is to prevent the mobs from damaging the tree in the center by killing them. Some of them are ranged, so you can’t just stand near the middle.

There is also a secondary objective (only relevant now in Mythic) where the spaceship will blow up everything if it’s not powered down. When you get some message, a portal opens near the center transporting you to that spaceship where you have to power down 4 orbs by killing the mobs next to them, and then clicking on them.

This takes time, so it’s best to do it right after Éonar does her charged attack (it charges when you kill a mob, so it’s best to trigger when you are already near the portal) that wipes out all remaining mobs. This gives you BARELY enough time to do the spaceship part and quickly get back to kill the mobs that have respawned by that time.

2-man if way easier, you should guard the spawn points in general, use the extra action button which can make you glide from one platform to the other to quickly reach them, and one of you taking on the ship when it’s time.

You can do all proffs across your own chars if you have enough of them.

On a DH its a joke but every other class is just insufferable.

KJ mythic is extremely easy, don’t use any CDs for P1 and just push him into the intermission, just make sure you get knocked into the next orb and be as close as possible to the impact. That will get you through the first intermission then pop every single CD and burn him down before he can do the darkness phase.

Oh, you can bypass that phase now? That’s nice. Some bosses just trigger the damage immunity upon reaching a certain percentage, but I do remember the darkness being a cast, so… maybe now it’s not that hard? I did all of them last during the last patch of Shadowlands.

i can solo it on any class with 403ish itl. at 70 you get a bigger legacy buff for legion raids so burning him down after the first air phase is alot easier.

this is not single player game … simply blizzard should make that think is never soloable … that u need to play with other ppl … if i want to play something solo that im going to play solo games but not wow …

that’s not how wow works tho, it’s a vertical progressing game so old content, even shadowlands are all ghost towns now. people have no incentive to go back and do it again . they should make it soloable.
i’m guessing that will happen with bfa timewalking while they’re focused on that expansion they can tune raids

If that was the case I’d expect them to create some sort of automatic LFR/LFG tool for legacy expansions, as creating groups for old content is very difficult even with communities supporting you, let alone FARMING a dungeon that requires more people to do.

Probably more players farm old dungeons and raids for mogs, mounts and achievements than do Mythic Raid at endgame.
Take them out of the game and you wouldn’t have enough subs to fund the endgame you wish to play.

Farming old content is not a niche activity done by a handful of odd-ball players.
To their credit Bliz recognised this (and the business benefit of keeping them) and they have introduced the Legacy Buff (in MOP, I believe) and tweaked mechanics to allow for solo. They know where the $$ are coming from.

They decided they just put most bfa dungeons in the m+ pool and be done with it. Tbh I don’t really need them imo, bfa felt like yesterday.

It’s in line with every other addition of Timewalking.

I’d love to run BFA again as TW, rather than M+ or levelling.

Trying to kill Jaina on mythic with a friend this week. That mount will be mine.

Got it after over 310 tries. It was a nightmare, I won’t go near the raid again.
There is a little hope because it was already the order of the day for them to change things, but I’m afraid that nothing will come of it… we’d rather get some trash event that’s not even good for catch-up because the normal items from it are not boas (dreamsurge …).

2006 mentality, get with the times, people are more introverted , more mature and cba making friends when they are 30+ in a video game lol

Try making a raid group for mythic Uldir then come back to us.

I think it’d be great to go solo legacy content farming with AI party members. Hopefully at some point it will be a thing

Old content is what it is and should be left that way instead of wasting resources that could be used in improving the game. That said there was a lot of old content that could not be soloed prior to this - Lift bosses, Events that required multiple people to trigger the event, Percentage base damage E.G. the Lich King took years for that.
