Why is BFA content not soloable?

Heroic warfont still requires 10 man.
A lot of raid bosses cannot be soloed.
If you want to farm the Ny’alotha Allseer mount with more characters, you have to finish all the missions for the cloak, because you can’t do anything account wide, right??
Nzoth visions as well, it’s not enough to do it with one character, you still have to go to that disgusting Nazjatar to talk to the glass dwarf…
It happened that MAYBE they will fix these for 10.1.5… for this we got a useless Dreamsurge event and almost nothing else to evaluate. That’s why it was worth releasing a new patch…
The fact that there is no BFA TimeWalking does not surprise me anymore.
But I don’t think we should expect anything for this year, all the gunpowder will be shot, we can go to the legion druid class hall.
I was waiting for them to “update” the old content a bit, because I think I only spent 5% of the time in the game in the new expansion.

Aye, wish Blizzard would nerf old content to be more solo friendly due to lack of participation…

In Shadowlands, they did it nicely, so that as soon as you reach that level and once you’ve done things with another character, you can skip a lot of things (mostly missions) and go farm whatever you want.
For BFA, they didn’t even smell it, and they didn’t specifically screw it up.
Anyone who has ever tried to get a cosmetic item knows how much time/effort it takes.
But even before that, kill the time on the 30min-1hr questline…

The question i have for blizzard is, how many devs do they actually require to change legacy content when it comes to mechanics. Is it a matter of figuring out what mechanics to change/remove? Well the playerbase can do that for you. I’d be more than willing to jump onto the PTR to test stuff like this cos it’s content i genuinely care for and future proofing legacy content equals more evergreen content.

But they have always been able to solve them so far.
This should have been dealt with more than this Dreamsurge event.
There is no one in Zaralek Cavern, and no one opens the door in Zskera Vaults either.
They added a lot of unnecessary things that quickly lose “attention”.

They haven’t made mythic Eonar soloable yet. So I wouldn’t hold out much hope for bfa content quiet yet.

Somehow I feel that I will have things sooner with or without rng than they do anything with it.

I was attempting Mythic Uldir the other day, made it to Zul, and couldn’t get past him, as he mind controls you and make you jump off the platform lol.

I agree with OP, BFA needs legacy tuning. Legion got legacy tuning in 9.1.5, BFA is due for it now.

i need those staffs from dazalor so bad! i wish we could solo it. I can barely solo lfr :smiling_face_with_tear:

Pretty sure they said that Warfronts would never work as a soloable event.

But yeh, it’s about time they sorted those raid bosses out. King Rastakhan is a simple full stop when it comes to soloing, the mechanics just cause the boss to reset if you don’t have a 2nd person there.

And whilst we’re on the matter, where is BFA time walking? It’s LATE!

Oh and agree about Dreamsurges… what a waste of developers time.

But, my advice to you in the meantime, stop wasting time in old content, get into the new stuff, it’s actually pretty good (except dreamsurges).

I’m collecting mounts, I have to go back to the old content (I’ve been playing since 2021, there are plenty of options).

Thank goodness I have everything from there, including the two mounts. I won’t go near the raid again.

I waited for this year because there is no mount due to exalted rep. I put aside a bunch of TW tokens on it.

I will say since Dragonriding has come out and we rarely use our old mounts, I have completely lost interest in Mount collecting and farming old content. And it really has made the game so much more enjoyable not having to worry about bad RNG drops.

I tell no lies, it’s mind blowing how much better the game has become, now I don’t worry about that.

Yeh, I’m sat on about 30k TW tokens across my account. I actually had enough for any Mounts BFA would bring out back when Legion TW arrived.

Opulence (BoD) is one of them you cant solo in BFA. I am sure there are more bosses you cant solo.

Like you cant solo old glory dungeon and raid. Nobody doing it!

Opulence can be soloed, it’s purely a numbers game.

Eonar is soloable, it might not necessarily be easy, but she is soloable, just like Spine of Deathwing.

Glory of the Warfront Hero isnt soloable either, due to requirement of 5 man and professions, and shadowlands has the same case that requires 5 man too to achieve Glory of the Shadowlands Hero

I was warlock main, it is soloable for demonology, but it just takes for a long time

  1. Let your pet attack the second side
  2. Be afk for a long time until second side has 30% HP
  3. Then hit the first side until he is able to get far away
  4. If your pet is dismissed for being too far away from You, summon him again
  5. (Maybe) second side the second golem was getting to me (Right side instead of platform with resets)
  6. In Opulence, I used strong AoE ability (Demonic Strength) only when the adds spawned, and then I defended myself with my drain life. I used to have 386 ilvl

It is soloable, just really freaking hard, you have to be nearly perfect with movement, especially if you are playing a slow class like DK.

Tried to solo mythic Jaina raid and failed. Can’t get that cool mount :sob:

Yea i recently started working on an alchemy achievment that requires you to get alchemy trinkets and the BFA ones where a pain. Having to do a bunch of raids eternal palace specifically that none signs up for, i just kept thinking this is complete BS that i cant solo this yet

To me that’s not soloable.
Just because some well played class / spec CAN solo it doesn’t make it soloable.
It is technically possible to go around a golf course with a score of 18 but getting 18 holes-in-one is not going to happen.

Mage Tower levels of challenge are not soloable by your average player. Mage Tower is not doable by the average player, I reckon the percentage of players capable of doing the Mage Tower is in single figures.
