Well… I do assume it was meant more like a jest after reading the last thing they’ve posted.
Though I do have to say that empathy certainly doesn’t have to be tied to age. Of course, it develops with it, but some people may be at a certain stage even before reaching adulthood while others get there later on if ever at all.

Imagine getting to 30 with the promise of flying, and find you can’t fly where you have to quest.
I STILL remember the day I got to 60 and for the first time saw Stormwind and Eastern Kingdoms and Kalimdor from the air. Happy days! 
Depriving new players of that is inhuman.

Complete garbage really, I finished the first part and found the fine-print in the second part that said you need two more reps at revered… yeah, no thanks. I have better things I can do with my life than more of this needless idiot chore.
I have no idea how you people who actually played this expansion could stomach this garbage.

…but at least, it was during the expansion, when things have a bit more “value”, than 5 years later when it means absolutely nothing
Blizz only has to lose from this decision
And The Campaign and Stories don´t even reach any reputations from questing story and campaign, even when it was current
