Weren’t they supposed to remove the requirement in Dragonflight? What happened?

I guess because it’s still the basic leveling xpac instead of SL.

Cant blame you that pathfinder was the most painful thing since the last 3 expansions.
WoD’s with that godawfull rare hunt was worse in my humbel opinion

Took me a good couple of months to finish that one. Not long after I finished it they removed it and I wanted to put my head through a wall.

Agreed. Hated that one. However something being worse doesn’t make the other thing less bad than it is.

I made a similar topic, doesnt make sense. Legion PF was removed in SL, and BFA is still on in DF

Well to be fair, WoD pathfinder was also only removed in SL, so it’s not like it’s consistent.
They probably don’t want to give flying to new players while BFA is the main leveling area.
The next expansion is probably a partial Kalimdor / Easter Kingdoms remaster, so they’ll probably redirect the new player experience there, and will allow BFA flying without the achievement.
How do you know that?
I don’t know that, obviously, but a few Blizzard devs have hinted in this direction, and many streamers and youtubers are also speculating it.

No keep pathfinder damnit. I had to suffer through all of these expansions (including grinding WOD pathfinder AFTER it was the current expansion), so so should everyone else. Should I miss the boat on an expansion’s more annoying grinds, I may revise my opinion.

But that not mean I want others suffer too like I did
This is a game that suposed to be fun and relaxing after all
I’m okay if others don’t have to go through on those things I hated 
Suffering builds character I know, but still… I rather play cheerfull, happy and relaxed people than misrable ones like myself

you know op back in our days you had to rep grind both ways up a hill in heavy snow while wearing ice skates to be able to fly

BFA does not make any sense being the main leveling area for the new players, the dungeons are not friendly for them either
Chromie or Cataclysm/Vanilla should be the main leveling areas for the new players and giving them leveling in Duskwood, Stranglehorn and many Vanilla zones
This is so excited to see another revamp from Eastern Kingdoms and Kalimdor
Also Gilneas revamp too
You grinded at that time during the expansion, for the rewards that came with it. You would never grind something like that for something two expansions old.

Mate, it was a joke. I dont care if everyone gets flying in old expansions. Also, no, not having access to in game flying is not like having cancer. Specifics matter. If I say a particular level of hardship was character building for me and everyone should go through it (like say, having to work a part time job whilst in secondary school), that isnt like me saying losing a limb was character building for me and everyone should go through it.

Because you had to do something beforehand shouldn’t mean that others should too, even more so if you yourself agree that it was annoying.
No need for others to share your bad experience. Instead, knowing how it felt, wouldn’t it be better to not make these people have to deal with it?
