It’s dispellable by MD for the same reason Ice Block is. They’d have to change that too since both abilities are treated as magical immunities. And then what purpose would shattering throw from warriors have?
md is big reason to play priest for long time now if u make things undispellable by making it work like mass regular purge then u also put sword trough priests and it affects comps which also snowballs into whole lot new balancing which blizz is horrible at

In a CD trading meta, it’s kind of dumb that you can remove the only significant defensive from a class that’s already terrible defensively. It’s 8 seconds immunity, let paladins have that lol
