Why is every shuffle game ret/demo?

Of course. That’s all true but still current Rogue’s defence is extremely strong and I think that too strong in fact. Recuperate was that op in Cata - you’re absolutely right and Feint was that strong but I wouldn’t say that Rogue was that OP every seasons. Historically I’d yes - it was always good and I can only think of few seasons where Rogues were truely bad like S12 MoP. In other examples they at least had an A tier spec. It doesn’t change the fact that Ret right now is something else. Something that shouldn’t ever happen to this game considering how long this games exists.

I understand that they have probably huge rotation in their dev teams. I read few articles how salaries for Blizz employees are one of the lowest on the market compared to other gaming companies and how many of them quit to join the competition. I don’t know if this is a thing. Maybe people who design this are just unexperienced. I cannot find any logic explanation on how Fistweaver and Ret got released in the current form and how BM got buffed while it was already one of the best PvP specs available. There is plenty of free information in the internet. Skill-capped releases their tier lists for free. Even people who are working for their esports like Ven and Supatease release the tier lists regularly. Cannot they consult with them at least regularly why spec x, y, z is underperforming in PvP or if that PvE buff would affect the meta or whatever. It’s just ridiculus. I’m pretty sure that these people would be happy to provide this information for free. I’m not talking about AWC competitors who can provide biased opinions to win the tournament but I’m talking about the casters and people who are getting income from making all these tier lists.

Ret is definitely broken, but I wouldn’t say it is ahead of outlaw Rogue in SL Season 3/4. And beside that Rogue might be not the absolute meta right now, it still was for the most part of DF, for SL, etc.

This guy just cries about demo locks in every thread without even bothering to read what it is about . I don’t get it what don’t he does not like about demo lock .There is no bigger stationary target for you to just zug zug at . Or you do not like that the target practice dummy sometimes fights back .

demonology was bound to take over the meta immediately when paladin got nerfed. someones gotta take the power vacuum and that ended up being a pet spec.

I habe 300k honorable kills and that is not the char i play arena with its just my main and honorable kills have nothing to do with arena the bg forum or pve forums are somwhere else ur wrong here kiddo.

and i dont play shuffle srsly im 2k or something in 3s for ever now i think first 4 weeks and i wait untill they fix 3v3 cause shuffle is for p**ys

Every 2s game even at low rating on low geared alts is vs a Ret/Ret or Ret/healer that has 440k HP and backpeddles. That’s the general Retbrain thats in the air right now.

I think that needs to be highlighted. Becaue if it was sub that was meta these people wouldn’t have shifted because assa is the way easier specc. Basically warrior with poisons. Sub on the other hand requires setup and effort and not just press kidney on CD.

Outside of that gimmicky oneshot from stealth bs in SL ofc. That just required you to stay in stealth lol.

Just go into a lobby with double ret, warrior and fistweaver as demo and tell me how much you enjoyed it.

Because Ret still needs another -20/-30% damage nerf, as well as survivability kit nerfs. The opportuity is too big to pass up or some people since Blizz is sleeping at the wheel.

For Demonology, well the spec is brainless to play. It’s the only caster with Mortal strike. And most of the damage can’t be shut down by melee disruption… so

There you have it.

Lots of players choose the path of least resistance in PvP rather than what is fun/dear to them. And it resulsts in a very bad game experience for those who do not chose to do so.

Rets need a nerf on damage and their overall toolkit plus increase in cd. Put wings on 1,5 min or 2 min. A ret right now with a competant healer can’t be killed.
