Don’t want to grind rep to fly.
Jellyfish quest is too hard.
Rare spawns are hard too find.
Everything should be account bound.
It takes days to do some quests so it’s timegating.
I want it all now!!
Maybe you should try CoD or something guys cos mmos aren’t for you.
I don’t want to play classic but at least classic players understand you need to work for rewards.
For me personally, I find BfA’s way of setting things up, extremely annoying. Because it’s not actually a grind so to speak, but a time gate.
Grinding is fine, strangely enough some of my fondest memories in WoW comes from grinding, such as running around (yes, running, no mount) The barrens to get copper and tin to level blacksmithing. Some music on the ear and hours of mindless grinding.
But time gating, I hate it. I hate artificial gates that you can’t go through. Where playing the game has no effect what so ever. That’s the part of BfA and the new WoW I hate the most.
But not the time gating I’m referring to. Which I clarified in the last paragraph of my post, i.e artificial gates you can’t get through, regardless of how much you play the game.
Well one of the complaints is probably that there is heavy timegating.
Sure some people want it “NOAW” but others are more than willing to “work for it” but are getting annoyed that they can only work for a limited effort.
Its like this scenario:
“To get the prize. You need to earn 100 000 euros”
Ok. Lets get cracking then!
“Oh and you can only earn 5 euros per day max btw”
…seriously?
This is the only one I think needs to genuinley be re-looked at, or atleast adjusted for competitive scenarios like raiding & rated. I like my alts, my priest, warr & hunter. I don’t want them to be at a automatic disadvantage when I go to do 2’s etc cause I haven’t put 100k of honor farming into them etc.
Yes. “Saving” only you have an exact rule of how much saving you can do.
Some can “save” like 0.50 per day while others want to go full 10 euro per day(if not more). Thats their choice ofc.
The issue arises when everyone is “forced” to save to a max 2 euros per day and nobody cares that you are more than willing to do more.
Totally disagree. When Johnny Destro has poured his time, heart and soul into his warlock and father dougal who mains a priest comes in on his freshly levelled alt lock and out does him, how’s Johnny goona feel… feels bad man… poor Johnny
There is no reason to justify repeating content as tedious as 8.2’s. I intend on doing the story once and only the once. The gear and essences are going to dictate too much in competitive scenarios as it is while making a good part of the game un-appealing, Playing alts
gearing the alts takes long enough baseline. i dont want to farm 600k honor ty.
Of course. But there are many factors behind that.
But to get back on the topics track.
The point I am trying to make is. That Blizzard has put a barrier, a “bottle-neck”
2 euros per day! MAX(ok fine. Will use this example one more time haha)
“But I am crafty! I can work 2 jobs, save everywhere I can” I want to reach the goal faster!
Blizzard: …2 euros and not 1 cent over. DEAL WITH IT!
Don’t you “work for it” guys want to get a job? It’s the same as wow, but instead it is you who get paid. There’s a difference between difficult and chore.
You are missing something , i want to grind rep but the game doesn’t let me grind rep. At least things go this way for me. Limited and unrewarding wq’s dailies ( rep wise)
Consider: People work IRL in order to afford video games.
The game is supposed to be a reward in itself. Going to work to afford working more after work is not a deal many will be inclined to take.
Believe me, I tried. I only ask 1 euro for permission to swipe out my garage but nobody bites.
It boils down to enjoyment. People want their carrots easier because they don’t enjoy the process of getting to the carrots.
And enjoyment is subjective. So no matter what you do, there will be people complaining, because you didn’t hit their tastes. Every gaming forum out there is testament to that. Preferences differ, more news at eleven!
Deciding which of all those crowds to please is not an enviable job. But I think it’s easy to see why.
