People like me with busy lives don’t have the time to sit for hours unlocking stuff on an old outdated MMO like WoW. Kids today want everything NOW. Blizzard is going in the opposite direction. It is gating rewards and cool stuff. The whole game design is wrong. There needs to be more fun stuff, toys, transmog items etc. I shouldn’t have to do old content quests to access new content. I want to jump right in and GET STUFF NOW. Tired of waiting, hanging around for stuff to unlock. Please stop gating quests and new content.

So you’re crying about people who invest more time and effort than you but then you want time gating to be removed which is basically the only thing that keeps casual clowns like you up to speed?
i only agree on some part.
Gaining rep should unlock some things maybe another dailyquest hub to show your effort progresses. On argus it was time gated and it was just absolutely terrible.
“here is a pretty short quest line for this new zone, but to make it look like more we only unlock 1 or 2 quests each week!”
In nazjatar you arrive, do the intro. then when friendly you get a few more quests then its just. Okay now grind several more weeks then we will finally give you the quest to kill azhara or something. There is no build up like moving the front to the eternal palace, there is no progress to be shown.
I liked how quel danas and icecrown were, you saw progress being made and unlocked more dailies.
Be careful salt is the leading cause of DH death.
It is an optical illusion. There are so much blue light in the profile pic that it seems like the eyes are blue also. To me it looks like they are green as they should

timegating and catchup mechanics prevents people with less time than others, or newcomers, to fall too much behind.
timegating does it by preventing those with a lot of time to go too much ahead.
worded that way sounds like a positive thing.

That’s the most massive aoe cc in game.
Rewarding the one’s who’s not deserve it and unrewarding the one’s who worked for it.
In the end nothing is worth the effort.
