Not that it is not understandable, as much as folk won’t admit to it, RP is fundamentally about supply and demand.
Rp is 100% supply and demand, hence why guilds of a particular niche can be replaced rather easily when a Gleader/DM’s get burned out and someone else who has motivation pops up with the same idea, the DM’s to “attendee/consumer” ratio is so skewered it cant not be supply and demand.

If a guild makes you feel this way then that isn’t a guild. That’s a clique.
Most of the feedback I get from my community is that they think they’re really involved and I’m happy with my own group to be honest so other groups are definitely able to do it as well in general esp on Horde side I think!
However, I will say to add more to the thread; It’s fair that some groups just want to do their own thing and they always will. But, we can’t complain Horde RP is dead when not offering value to it if you get me?
We can’t just be moaning about it and then continuing to hide away in our sub-corner of the great world. We need to be the change we wish to see.
I think that to help we should all work together we (my group) still move to Org a lot and do alot of casual RP there as well.
So I do hope that other groups or even players can and will join us on that front a bit more in future and if they don’t that’s okay too! We don’t have a big need for a hub we just need to be connected.
It’s entirely upto us as players to decide what we see as value to our own time and our own RP.

Ofc, people are entitled to do their own thing, it should be encouraged in some cases (people who simply wont let things go n cant get on ect) I agree with more or less everything you said there, as for Ogrimmar like you more or less say thats a group effort, one person cant fix that, nor one guild, and I dont think the usual scape goat is a viable excuse, SW has similar issues n has rp, that being said, honestly, I think there are cooler spots than Ogrimmar in Kalimdor, mostly the Goblin spots tbh, its mostly away from crazy OOC stuff n still keeps the general vybe

I can agree with your take here and in my head I think it’s mostly just people who are straggling over from Alliance Rp and then going “where horde RP” in a sense. I also think that some people are just posting “Where Horde RP?” threads because they’ve read the other 200 we’ve had the past year and then, decided to do it as a bit of a troll.
Though I could also be very much in the wrong on that. It’s a two sided sword really. Maybe they’re unsure (New to the Faction, New to RP or others) and then they’ve just jumped onto it and found that Horde isn’t active because people are doing something or there’s a campaign going on with guilds, etc.
I also however think, some people do it for a laugh to try and get the rile out of the regular forum posters which I’m pretty much invested in now as well. Maybe I’m addicted to the forums 
As a side note; Could also just be the melodramatics and people saying that it’s dead because they logged on a few times and found it quiet.
Though, Horde RP isn’t dead I highly doubt it will die anytime soon. It’s less open though I will say that.

Also, it could be useful to have a place where we can see which Horde guilds are currently active and recruiting.
For better or worse, people need to see what is available, who is recruiting, and under which circumstances. Accessibility is a good thing!
Unfortunately there are many guilds which simply don’t have a presence outside of the game or their webpages/AA links are often outdated.
What do you think could bring you - hypothetical Horde RPer - back to the scene?
Is there anything that would, or you’re more satisfied with the Alliance’s offer?

At this point, it feels like we would end up with a decently populated hub if every person who made a thread along the lines of “horde rp ded 
” hung out around Orgrimmar on evenings. Is it just me or do we really get a lot of those?

Hey, this thread reminds me of the Fireside Gathering in the Valley of Wisdom, Orgrimmar on the 1st of October and the Kosh’harg Festival in Nagrand, Outland running from Monday 03/10 to Sunday 09/10. That’s next month, isn’t it?

And no i am not okey… My favorite WoW race is ruined by UwU’s… and i said unforgivable things to others in the past.
Is it like… unimaginable to Argent dawn rp’ers… that some people actually think Vulpera looks cool? And choose them as their first race? Not cause of UwU and erp fantasies…
But the same reasons you all choose and indentify with elves and orcs etc…
Imagine watching your playable race getting dragged trough the mud by everything you stood up against the haters for… And everyone who plays it agreed and went along with it. And never once wanted or cared to adapt it into a warcraft race.
