Jaina loot table is indeed pretty depressing.

As a mage i can look forward for one OH which isnt that great stat wise and its better off used to be a transmog.
There is one trinket with lame water elementals charging on use that u have to channel while standing - seriously what a boring person designed that aoe trinket to drop from Jaina?
There is a chest piece dropping aswell which brings nothing new compared to bosses earlier in the raid that drop the same.

Disappointing to see there is nothing else other than Curve and Cutting Edge which makes the encounter worth to do.

on a serious note tho, I think best option is, adding limited mounts and stuff to end bosses.

loot is temporary, mounts and pets are forever.

I raid for rewards whatever they are. As it is, I would just kill Jaina hc once for curve then never touch the fight. I don’t expect my guild to get CE, this is the first tier we try to progress but I’m hoping we get few more kills. At least for mythic there is a mount but for non-mythic raiders it’s just “ah you deserve just crap!”. Maybe we don’t deserve a mount, but at least give us something, treat us like dogs at least, they get treats when they do good.

Come on… Most of vanilla trinket can’t hold a candle to the current ones and vanilla had plenty of trinket with raw stats rather than procs or on use.

Some items were awesome but instead of fixing them the concept wasn’t reused afterward.
(engineering helmets which could reflect a spell ?)

Oh and that was bad design tho, leaving an item reflect a WB mecanique which deals dmg on % max health… It was fixed but still a bad idea which they learned from. Ty

We only get mounts for end of expac herioc kills ie:-
SoO and Garrosh MoP
HFC and Archmonde WoD
Antorus and Argus Legion.
Jania is BFAs version of Legions Guls mythic mount.

I’m not particularly fond of vanilla trinkets but overall since we had some amazing trinkets through TBC, Wrath, MoP …

I’m not asking for mounts, I know that’s too good for hc raiders. I’m asking for good loot/trinkets which was the norm in Legion.

If I raided for gear only then I wouldnt do Jaina and wouldnt even step in HC anymore as I got my gear mainly from M+ which already made 400 gear obselete for me. I do it to have the result of defeating the “endgame” boss on HC level.

Aside from that it would be nice have some extra motivation in the form of good loot even. Like something special from last boss.

But herioc raiders get them every expac like i just said to you.
And we do get decent gear its just done through all the raid not just end boss.

I’m not sure what you’re talking about anymore. I’m talking about end raid bosses not end expansion. I’m particularly talking about jaina’s crappy loot. We used to get good loot from end boss not we don’t.

But its only bad for you and the game isnt all about you and your spec .
We just have to suck it up ,if you only raid for you and your gear and not for your guild or friends then i dont mean to be rude its very shallow of you.

Umm what’s your problem? It’s not bad for me, it’s bad for all casters and most melee. It’s really bad for like 90% of the specs. Why are you making this about me? What’s wrong with you?

Seems to me all you care about is loot and one boss and please its not bad for 90% of 36 specs.

Ive no ide why you are whining about it i would understand if you are farming herioc and mythic you recently killed normal .

1.) Whatever is your gender i couldnt give a toss about it. Dude.
2.) Modern RPGs are about loottables whether its solo or group content.
3.) Im adressing this to you since you seem to be living in a dream world telling your “keen” things to people where in reality you dont have much to show up.

But it is bad for 90% of 36 specs. It’s doesn’t have any BiS for most specs. That’s the whole argument for the post, end bosses should have “above average” loot. It doesn’t. It has BELOW average loot. Whether you only play LFR or MYTHIC, you can always clear it. The final boss and final encounter should leave you with a nice reward. It’s a very simple concept.

Lots of people only raid for loot, nothing wrong about it.
As long as you’re not being toxic to other people because they got loot over you or something it’s totally fine.

2.raiding shouldnt be about loot only never was in classic all the way to WoD when new type of player joined and just in it for gear . Sad really as it ruins guilds and bonds.

  2. Jania isnt the end boss for this season/tier .
    They could have moved the trinkets from op and council to her would that made you happy as a caster ?
