Why is Jaina's loot crap?

Really? The lack of haste on gear early on destroyed my desire to bother with endgame. It completely takes away from what has always made the game fun, fast paced combat. I naturally assumed Blizzard would have pulled their finger out by now and gave us more Haste on things like raid drops to make raids more lucrative. I guess Blizzard’s message is loud and clear, they like slower boring combat.

Well, in mythic it was that disgusting (But awesome) mount.

In other modes (except LFR) it was the upgradable trinkets. :3

It is disappointing when we don’t actually get to kill a boss.

Jaina’s competing with Kadala to see who can be the most annoying.

Here is the scoop. Many loot drops in this game are poor. It comes from a fear that players may actually get something useful that would speed up their game mechanics and make playing enjoyable. I did a whole dungeon whilst levelling and we completed all the bosses and at the end I opened the final chest and got … 2 copper. I mean who designs a game and deliberately rewards a player with 2 copper. Its kinda insulting.

Just that … that reward comes from the same folk that decide the loot for all drops in game. The point being that if they would stop fearing rewarding players they may just get more wanting to spend time in the game. … They could have at least given you 10% off the price of a statue or something.

Everybody wants a lift when they succeed. Surely its not hard to see that giving reward for effort that is meaningful and appreciated makes for happy players. Even if its just a chair to stick in my garrison with my name on it. Just saying.

Anyway you can’t have my 2 copper… I spent it. OK.

Yeah I agree with the bad concept of “no loot”. It doesn’t have to be gear … it could be something you can sell or use in crafting. The issue is the devs are extremely stupid, they don’t wanna gate anything behind anything so they ended up with nothing.

Trinkets from KJ was dreamy for some classes.

And then after actually helping her when Baine brings Derek to Jaina, that is like 1000000 times more disappointing than not killing her (which tbh. we knew we wouldn’t kill her even 3 months before the raid).

Garrosh was the same. No kill :frowning:

Why do you wanna kill Jaina? She’s probably the reason the horde has not been erased from Azeroth.

We still got all his good stuff nontheless(From Garrosh). Would have loved to lay hands on her Staff, the necklace or her robes. But instead the loot is trash. Except for the mythic mount that is way out of my league to get/finish.

She’s the one who wanted to dismantle the Horde in MoP, so no, she’s not the reason the Horde still exists.

Because this whole expansion has been one big Jaina fanfic story.
She has to be everywhere, has been in like 10 cinematics already, don’t know when was the last time a character had so much grip on the story.
Suddenly she’s the most powerful character on Azeroth just because.
She lead the attack that killed Rastakhan.

Most importantly every time she appears Horde characters have to be reminded how the Horde ruined her life and how she’s a constant reminder of what Blizzard has done to the Horde since MoP.

I’m just so tired of her in this expansion already.
I don’t want to see her in the Horde story anymore, for a change I’d like if we actually got some Horde characters get developed instead of a character who’s had more development than the entire Horde character roster combined.

Well, she did not get great development … I wish we see more of her. Sylvanas had much better development (with the exception of BoD story which is a just insane).

It really doesn’t make sense putting the loot on the end boss. Isn’t the whole purpose of gear to enable you to kill the end boss and get the achieve?

You really wanna kill the boss with the same difficulty each time? It should give you loot to kill it easier next time.

Pretty much everyone agrees that her development in BfA has been really good so far (aside from the “We can’t attack them because they’re mourning their king” line).

While almost everyone also agrees that Sylvanas’ development in BfA (and basically from when they put her in the Warchief position) has not been that great, with the burning of Teldrassil, with all her plans and schemes failing and once again a rebellion is rising within the Horde because of her decisions as Warchief.

Besides Sylvanas actually barely appeared in BfA so far while Jaina has been all over the place already, one wonders why does Jaina not just end the war by herself because Blizzard has buffed her so much.

Also having a raid boss just teleport away at 5% leaves a very sour taste in your mouth.

The loot is there to entice you to keep killing the boss.

Why kill the hardest boss in the raid by far after you’ve already killed it once if that boss has crappy loot?
The same problem happened with G’huun and nobody liked it, it’s also gonna leave multiple people without a kill on the last boss if a guild decides to not do the boss anymore.

There’s no harm in putting the best loot on the last boss, especially if you can just do heroic and get the heroic version of the loot.

As I generally have to pug a lot for raid content I usually kill a last boss once, and once I have the achieve don’t return. I don’t see the point, unless I’m helping a friend to get the achievement.

I don’t know man, I feel you should kill it few times. What I would like is to have very high chance for item drop from last boss, you shouldn’t need to kill 20 times to get your item; just 4-6 times to get all the loot you need from it. Blizz should make end bosses drop loot 100% time for all players.
