As the title states, I just hit 80, got some honor gear, jumped into solo shuffle. Only to see that I’m facing opponents in the 1800-1950 CR bracket, where I’m on 576 CR. How is this possible?
The highest I’ve hit on my other character was 1976 this season (Rogue). But my warrior was leveled had never achieved that kind of rating in any season, so why is my MMR so high and it’s impossible for me to win as a new class.
Because base MMR increases for everyone as TWW progresses
1500 was base MMR when season 1 started
Now you understand, why ppl dont play the season and just come at the end of it for freebies. 2k is now a default rating you start at. Yes, not having gear, keybinds, ui, skill or any clue how to play your char sux, but you can still keep about 50% win loss ratio and get free transmogs.
Unfortunately due to constant crying from 15 hundo players and game being dead mmr has been inflated multiple times to the point where u’ll be 2100+ on a fresh toon at the end of season. And it also won’t reset for next ssn.
