Everything just feels so slow and reliant on healing wave for actual decent heals which opens you up to interrupts
Are you playing full mastery?
Generally you shouldnt need to hard cast that much outside of big bursts with enough master your passive earthshield, riptide HoT, earthliving HoT, healing stream etc and the actual instant riptide heal itself do the vast majority of healing meaning you still do most of your healing even while in CC.
