There seems to be a lot of confusion around the Tusks of Mannoroth and if there is still a way to get them, without having to clear the entire raid each time. The answer is yes, it is possible, but you will have to clear it just once up to Garrosh. I have had the lockout on my mage for 2 years and just did another run 5 minutes ago.
