Why is Soul of Iron / Never Known Defeat not permanent if you hit 60?

Been trying to get info on this as its hard to find out.

Turns out, even if you hit 60… you lose your soul of iron buff along with any other HC related buffs when dying.

Blizzard come on, let us keep that buff if we hit 60 and move to PVE as a badge of honour.

Seems like such a huge oversight in a game all about showing off our shiny characters.

Because keeping a character alive is not just have been… a levelling from 1 to 60… a game, challenges continues…

Like in any other game wich has hardcore aspect… you die and your toon is dead simple as that.

Yes you are dead on HC, but you live on with your character on normal server.

Why not be able keep the soul of iron buff showcasing your achievements as a badge of honour.

Be careful which demons you are about to summon, young Paladin.

Wouldn’t be surprised if some would try to establish this as a new “meta” requirement on the PvE servers…

Its Hardcore “privilige” for not dying in any certain point…even after getting lv.60.
Those earlier “ironman” runs or so wich have influenced for getting HC servers in here WoW universe. Those “challenges” are gone in a wind, and HC servers came.

Put it in a simple… your character died and privilige to hold such a titles are gone…puff.
Like in any other game wich offers HC modes since original D2/lod,D3,PoE and so on…

Hc and Normal servers are not a same thing even if you toon moved to normal as for dying/penalty of it. You should know and understand this as you have played HC server.

Thanks for a reply btw…

Even if you move and have NOT died, it goes away after a time.
