Why is the blizzard alive?

Well in a sense you can guess.
Blizzard is still alive because it’s part of a giant corporation. Many players still won’t leave WoW no matter how bad the game is or how many scandals Blizzard finds in the fridge.
They’re working their way up now, let’s see if they can actually keep up for more than one expansion.
Any company who don’t make money will not be around that long. A giant corporation will drop any part of it that’s a loss maker. It’s sold off either in pieces or as a whole. Usually the Intellectual property goes first so if you see that games have been sold to other companies then you start to worry.
