I play on Doomhammer. Ever since Dragonflight was released the game has become nigh on unplayable. There are vast amounts of lag and latency issues which never happened before. Not only that, but they have now spread beyond the limited Dragonflight zones. Clearly the coding and game design have been broken. What are your intentions of giving full customer refunds to those that purchased Dragonflight (which now looks to have been missold as a playable product) and also providing refunds on subscriptions until such time as Blizzard get around to fixing their inital errors.

If the game was unplayable then there would be a lot more people complaining about this. Last time I played on a very busy realm I had no problems.
Do you by any chance use addons? Have you tried a full UI reset? Are they fully up to date?

Ive not had any lag or stability problems, at all, not since the Community Feast causing lag in the Azure Span issue was fixed.
As Dottie said, if it was a widespread problem, there would be a lot more posts in these forums, and the primary cause of lag is usually out of date addons, or conflicting addons.
There are definitely big problems with the DF client that are unresolved and makes the game much less enjoyable. Blizzard doesnât want to admit it.
Increased input lag. Fps spikes. Bad optimization. Insane amount of bugs this time around, and they keep stacking up.
Itâs not unplayable to the majority and there wonât be a massive outcry because the average player donât notice these issues or they simply donât care.
Update: 4080, i9 13900k. Fix your game Blizzard, and donât claim the issues have already been fixed. Disgusting.

Straight up facts. At work WoW is permanently on the list of games being benchmarked, before shipping off the prebuild PCs. Every single PC have less than desired performance in WoW, with stutters when loading in players/zones, sometimes with abilities going off and such.
I bet the US forum thread about this will be closed soon enough, just like the one here on EU forum.

we Had * a thread since 10.0 monitoring the worsening of the performance but it was closed today ⊠At least americans got to keep theirs , but our issue the blue post said was fixed lmao

Absolut fantastic wednesday ⊠it look like STUTTERING is back after few months and i just killed world boss 5 FPS it was choppy like 30 years ago when i had slow HDD and less ram than recommended for game. GG blizzard i9 @5GHz and RTX GPU

If you donât like the game, donât renew your subscription. You state itâs unplayable - but youâre playing it.
Clearly there are enough people who find the game performance works for them and are happy to renew their subscription each month.
If the game becomes truly unplayable for everyone, as you claim, then those subscriptions will stop.
Iâm not saying there are no issues with the DF client, but these claims full of hyperbole and ridiculous demands do precisely nothing to advance your cause.

i am not playing/paying for a long time but i want to. So each patch i usually check how is it, and sadly nothing changes, not in a good way at least.

Yeah we had a thread that had around 22k views on it and they close it cuz they say problems have been solved, haha what a joke! The problems are still here and getting worse every new reset + the amount of new bugs is just too crazy at this point.
The order for closing a thread like that must come from a higher place! It just shows that they dont care about us anymore

Cause they have been pushing patches in a foolhardy way before they are ready.
As a result they have ruined lots of background stuff, like atm i just updated WoW and the game is now incompatible with all but 2 realms. So, someone tried to fix something with those realms and pushed it overall on the game, ruining the compatibility with all others.

This is just harmful.
for some reason wow doesnât run well with the latest hardware.
own a ryzen 5600x (ryzen is just the best) and an old gtx 1660 phoenix graphics card.
and have no problems at all.
no lag and never below 60 fps not even before they fixed the rift events either.
but there have been countless threads from people with new hardware who have problems in wow, I just donât think wow is particularly optimized for the brand new hardware

Meanwhile forgetting the massive threads on EU and US complaining about instability and lag for the longest time with Blizzard responding with various fixes and what not and then eventually ignoring them until they died down or in fact just closing the thread.
Whilst the game isnât unplayable, there are definitely issues with it - the question is how far Blizzard can address them on their end. Itâs not just as simple as one little fix for all, and sometimes a multitude of issues are at work including things that are outside the scope of Blizzard to address. But to sit back and say âOh I see no one else complainingâŠâ is just astonishing, especially from posters who clearly post a lot. Itâs always the same few players too that you see, literal shills.

But the fact of the matter is that those threads number, at best, a few hundred people complaining out of a user base that is measured in millions. So the fact people are saying âif it were a more widespread problemâŠâ is rooted in a reasonable thought process rather than a knee-jerk reaction.
The bottom line is that you have a choice. You can choose to play or you can choose not to. There are lots and lots of other video games out there some of which directly rival WOW and are eminently playable. Blizzard is a commercial company and the only thing they are interested in is cash. Vote with your wallet and leave - complaining here, as you have seen, achieves precisely nothing.
Either you are wrong, or weâll get a blue post confirming that if we can not login we should cancel our subscriptions.

We are now 9 months or so into Dragonflight. The game has glitches, sure. Iâve had some - I imagine many people have. Do the glitches annoy ? Yes, sometimes they are irritating. Do they ruin the whole game ? No. Overall I find the game enjoyable and continue to pay my monthly subscription.
Your view is obviously different to mine. It doesnât mean one of us is wrong - it just means we each have different views/experiences.
I think it fairly clear that the issues you describe are not going to be fixed any time soon. The game is what it is. Youâd be best advise to accept that and continue to play âas isâ or stop paying and move on. Compensation is never going to happen. Those days are long gone. Yes, during vanilla people would be credited game time for serious server issues and so on, but that has not happened in a very long time.
As to your claim Iâm a troll, well that is ridiculous. Just because someone doesnât agree with you doesnât make them a troll.
i complained and i got ignored, so i stopped playing just like everyone else, reason you not seeing complaints is cos game is basically dead, hate to burst your bubble but game has been dead for years now, you wonât see anyone complaining cos its pointless it gets ignored their no support, developers do not care, i could bug report a bug to an app developer and they be helping me debug it, even sons of the forest developers do this, wow devs just ignore me not even trying to investigate they just give up, while other developers actually make progress even finding bandaids that work, blizzard is abselutly useless only matter of time Microsoft cleans house and this game will be the first thing to go if not made free to play.
