Yep, make a new battle.net account, link the card and send over the gold on main.

Other than that blowing 600 euros on a video game is such a waste. Like you could pre order the ps5 with that :joy: Have fun with your dino. :sauropod: :sauropod: :sauropod:

Not reading before you bought 20 could be considered dumb.

Account tends to mean battle.net. They tend to use license when they talk about an individual sub account.

Oh the good ol’ times when I didn’t have anything to spend my money on and the only thing I was worried about was what am I missing in WoW.

Enjoy it my friend, it’s priceless.

Who are you guys to tell him it’s a waste! For all we know, he is a millionaire with only an hour or two to play per week.

Well, if he really want to spend so for money for the dino then he can just create a second battle.net account. But to avoid problems he put in the second account the same personal information (name and address) as his first account so in case of Blizzard support investigate him for moving big amount of money between two accounts they will easily check both accounts belong to the same person and so this is not a case of gold trades against the rules.

I wouldn’t count on it. It’s trying to circumvent a measure they have put in.

Two different Battle.Net accounts are for all purposes two different persons, so there is no way their system would detect it is the same person and not allow him to buy more tokens. It is also possible that this limit is also register by credit card number but in this case he would need a second credit card. If he do all that for all purposes there will be two different persons buying 20 tokens each, the system would allow it. Blizzard could detect is the same person if they required all accounts to give Blizzard a national ID card, but Blizzard don’t do that.

One would assume they intend to send the gold to a main account. That may flag.

Just because it is flagged does not means it is againts the rules. It can be flagged because it is clearly suspicius but once a GM investigate him they will see the gold has legitimaly obtained via tokens and also both Battle.Net accounts belong to the same person and so it is not real money gold trade. It is impossible for a player to do real money transfer with himself, at least two persons are required for that.

You’re missing the point.

Blizzard have put a cap on tokens for a reason. The suggestion is to make a new battle.net account to buy more tokens, funnelling that to the same account, effectively bypassing the imposed limit.

It’s a similar argument of ‘creative use of game mechanics’ for obvious exploits.

Depending on how a GM feels then all accounts could get banned.

I doubt it. Even if we could argue that he is circumvallate a limit delivery created by Blizzard we shouldn’t forget his purpose is to spend money in Blizzard. If that money is legit there is no reason why Blizzard will punish someone for spending money. No company in their right mind would do that.

The microtransaction business that Blizzard has, including the token, is based on the premise that there is a small number of big whales that expend a big amount of money. It is goes against Blizzard interest to ban him for effectively being the ideal whale client they want with their tokens.

I dont care what people do with their money, but if you have to buy 20 tokens regulary you better don’t play this game. Whats the point in playing this if you’re not willing to grind??
