You better open a support ticket if you want a good explanation.

You can only get 20 a week.

Should’ve probably looked into tokens before going for the longboi. :stuck_out_tongue:

Jesus this is so dumb why put a maximum per week , pre patch is in 2 weeks right?

  • You may use the in-game Shop to purchase a maximum of 20 Tokens per week.
  • Your Blizzard account can only have one type of Token and:
    • a maximum of 20 Tokens purchased with money in your inventory at one time, or
    • a maximum of 10 Tokens purchased with gold in your inventory at one time

Yes, I’m afraid it is a thing.

they would release without an announcement though right?

Yep, pre-patch should be announced and before it usually happens to coincide two weeks after the end of a PvP season ending. It could be anytime though as there’s no guarantee.

Specifically to stop people spending huge amounts of real money on impulse, apparently.

I guess they don’t want to deal with the cases of buyer’s remorse when people wake up hungover with a new longboi and a big credit card bill. Hard to unwind transactions once the token has sold and another player has used it.

They won’t release without an announcement, no. I’m kind of surprised we haven’t had one yet though… time’s a ticking.

Did you really just waste 400€ for in-game gold?

It’s not like you had several months to get it

2 reasons - game economy manipulation and bank chargebacks.

20… it’s much, like you’re rich.

So you try buy dino mount?

If you are really desperate you may be able to pay a sub on a starter edition of wow on your own battle net (you could recruit a friend yourself too) then you may be able to buy 20 more…

Not 100% sure as the lock may be account bound, but could be battle.net bound. Ask customer support for clarification.

then create new accounts, buy tokens send gold to main, repeat.
