Oh, I remember now! Right under the creation catalyst for the tier sets! Honestly found the WQ pretty annoying.
If anything, the Superbloom is an improvement of that, at least in my opinion.

Regardless of the reasons (be it chores, rares, etc.) Zereth Mortis was always full of people to the brink, even months after release, and had tons of improvised PVP and PVE alike collaboration between players - to kill big bosses, f.e. the worm that did these horrible sounds in the sandy area, or just to fight the other faction. It was full of life.
I go to emerald dream, which is basically the equivalent of Zereth Mortis one expansion later - and it’s completely dead. I can’t find 15 people to kill for the trading post activity for hours.

Why is there nothing to do in the Emerald Dream zone?
After SL, after the Maw, the community requested “to do nothing” content and to do everything while AFKing.
But you got it right. They should put 3 to 4 different snail racing zones in there.

True (except for the central camp ofc) but normally we have some scattered zones with ppl (soridormi lair - coalescence lair - tuskarr village). When zm was packed, korthia and the 4 startung zones (the horrible korthia) had 0 ppl.
I cant agree. For sure isnt the best one (i jumped 9 months) but playin with no rush it gives a bit of satisfaction.
Except torghast and things here and there, Shadowlands was the worst thing we had in wow recently.
IMO Dragonflight is a “maintenance” expansion, because it improved a lot of systems or made them evergreen:
- talents
- gear
- dynamic flying
- solo shuffle/ battleground blitz
At the same time, in terms of story, characters, patch content, cinematics, Warcraft “feel”
as a whole - by far the worst.
I hope they take the good things moving forward and we never have another emerald dream in the future
i started playin in s4 and open world was really crowded. ZM was a hit. right now there’s no one in emerald dream except people waiting for raid
yeah so much great QoL updates happened too but in overall experience like you said it’s just boring. raiding is fun , m+ isnt awful except pugs, but the rest is just a big nothing. most people are losing interest in wow’s story and they just play the seasonal stuff. i remember the hate threads in SL , right now people dont even care because how dull it is

That’s because all those zones are nothing else but catch up mechanics for people who were unsubbed and think whether they want to come back to game or not.
They are completly devoided of any reason to go there once you farm up your last Drake crest.
I know i hit that level on my Hunter pala and next week will hit IT on druid. Then i have just dh and mage which need last couple of Drake crests which they have been unlucky to get from m+ on champions / hero level
Pretty much agree here. DF is what MOP was to WOW; a stepping stone to something new.
It’s also really controversial, also like MOP.

Perhaps I should make a separate topic for this, but I’ve wondered so ce first seeing the zone, where exactly it is.
The dream is said to be a blueprint of azeroth without mortal interference, yet it does not resemble any part I know and has buildings in it.
My mind is flooded with druid going to sleep to enter the dream only to dig quarries for stone which those buildings are made out of and stilts for constructions (probably not made out of wood right?)
Yeah, doesn’t feel like the emerald dream at all. The ambience, the foliage, it looks like a regular “jungle” zone from any expansion.

It’s “dream side” of island west of Ohn’ahran Plains, just right where the dream located. I believe more story will be added to the island in later patches.

Aha thank you that explains some of it.
Blizzard dropped ball on this zone. It has content for 2 weeks maximum, not few months.
- Rares are bland and boring - no intresting loot, nothing to chase
- Plants - well, boring, no intresting loot, you can get it fast
- Superbloom - boring, no intresting loot
- There are almost no chests with cosmetics etc, very little grindable achievements
and so on…
Only 1 good thing is boe toy you can farm and sell it on AH, thats about it.
Zone is not intresting grind, farm-wise. Either they moved their resources to new xpac or I don’t know - Emerald dream is ghostown now.

Why can’t people max out seeds on their own? It’s not hard to farm dew drops 
Sometimes focusing on something else can end up being a little too late. Right now I there are 10’s of thounsands maybe still doing stuff compared to 100’s of thousands in the past. It’s not chores people miss is quality.
