It can be easily soloed even at lvl 50. So what are they uptoo ?

Maybe they are groups by a group of cheaters so they have private groups they can use to make their bots/multiboxxers server hop.
Botting and goldselling is an organized business after all

We have those on our server as well. One of them is circling Legion content 24/7 gathering resources.
Molten Core is either just for show, or it’s the because of the groups south who keep respawning almost instantly. There’s also basically a merry-go-round of rares with rather short respawns. I report them every time I am quick enough to catch one/a group. Not just russians though.
mostly for phasing to abuse it with bots or something
