Why is YOUR race best?

That’s exaggeration. The link you posted shows the same thing as the “First War” article: a few individuals participated, but not the Bronzebeards or Wildhammers as entire nations.

Sometimes I get weary of people literally not reading what I link. If you’d kept reading for another couple lines you’d have seen this:

Khaz Modan was besieged by the rampaging Horde that was heading north. The proud dwarves of Ironforge made their stand alongside their gnomish cousins. Inch by inch, the Horde claimed Khaz Modan; though the dwarves and gnomes made it difficult as the Horde forced their way through the territory. Eventually, the twin-race host was forced to split as both races retreated to their respective capitals, with Orgrim Doomhammer, Warchief of the orcish Horde, committed his forces to what he saw the greater threat of the two, Ironforge. Unlike with the rest of Khaz Modan, the siege of Ironforge was unsuccessful, with nearly every resident of the city taking up an axe to defend their home. By the end of the siege, ten orcs were slain for every dwarf felled, and Orgrim called off the attack to surround both Gnomeregan and Ironforge, instead of conquering them, leaving the Bleeding Hollow clan to this task. Khaz Modan was the prize, and its resources were soon being mined by the Blackrock clan to serve the Horde’s needs.[28]

So you kept Ironforge and lost literally everything else in the first war.

a boring elf. velf or belf. except 2 iron dwarf and a NMT my mains are all high elves related.

My best race is 100 meters.

Wow…woooow! you literally don’t know anything about Warcraft lore, do you?

The text you quoted it from the SECOND War, not the first. Check the source cited, you excellent reader. In fact, the text is transcluded (Wiki term) from the Wowpedia article on the Second War; check the section of the Second War article titled “Invasion of Khaz Modan.”

The dwarves didn’t participate in the First War.

You didn’t read the article properly.

Your point was wrong from the very beginning.

Thank you and have a great day

Simple. Nightelves are xenophobic.

(for those who won’t get the joke : they are xenophobic, thus they see themselves as the best race).

Literally at the start of Warcraft 2 you watch a cinematic of the orcs sailing across the sea to Lordaeron from a conquered Khaz Modan. The tileset of the first mission is Snow. This marks the beginning of the second war which ends in the orcs being pushed back and put into internment camps across the eastern kingdoms, which is the state of the world at the start of Warcraft 3.

My friggin’ God man…

And besides I was responding to someone who said the dwarves had never lost on their own land, and that is definitely false regardless of whether it was the first or second war.

A good question.

I am a huge lore geek, and I am obsessed with Kal’dorei Empire lore.

The Shal’dorei or the Nightborne in common language, are the definition of the Highborne rank of the Kal’dorei Empire.

The golden jewelleries, fancy clothing, prideful posture and most importantly smug faces. This is what makes my race the best.

Have you ever wanted to call someone a lowborn scum and not feel bad about it?

Play a Nightborne.

As for class choice, automatically you would pick a mage, but I went with warrior, for the Spellshield, Spellbreaker class fantasy, also those arcane crafted shields and swords are just too good to pass on.

So yeah, give some love to the smug elves of Azeroth people.

Nope. You’re absolutely wrong. The ships are sailing from a conquered Stormwind, as stated in the cinematic, accompanying novels, and every canon material mentioning it. You’re remembering it wrong or just mad that you’ve been disproven in a public forum.

It’s 100% false and it’s been proven for everyone to see above. The dwarves weren’t involved in the First War and thus didn’t lose land.

Warcraft II Tides of Darkness - Act 1 (Seas of Blood).jpg
Act I Seas of Blood
I. Zul’dare
Map of Orc Mission #01

The Horde is preparing to launch an assault against the mainland of Lordaeron.

Orgrim Doomhammer - War Chief of the Orcish Hordes and Ruler of the Blackrock clan - has ordered you to establish a small outpost on Lordaeron’s southern shores.

To secure the Zul’dare region as Doomhammer demands you will need to construct a Barracks and several Farms to feed your troops. Your success may help us determine the extent of the pathetic Human defenses and what resistance they can offer against our forces.

I WONDER HOW HE DID THAT?!

You just won’t accept it, will you? Oh well.

Good lord, are you being serious?

There’s not mention of the dwarves there at all, nor in any other material in connection to the First War, but seriously…why did you even post that? To prove the lack of any connection to the dwarves in the First War and make peace in the thread?

You just told me they sailed from Stormwind. The campaign doesn’t say that - instead the cinematic depicts orcs sailing from a southern shore to a northern shore - which is Khaz Modan to Lordaeron. The dwarves were conquered before the mission begins, otherwise they couldn’t go there. There’s some missions later going on in the Badlands as well but that is actually the 2nd war.

You know what, you go ahead and believe what you want to believe. That game’s been retconned to kingdom come anyway.

Can you both let it drop for what is meant to be a fun thread.

Yep, you’re the best indeed! :purple_heart:

(solely saying this to avoid a tentacle slap in the face) :face_with_hand_over_mouth:

Onto the point, us blood elves are the most beautiful according to most players and are the most numerous as well if the survey I read is right. Some 30% of the Horde (or was it overall?) consists of our fabulousness.

Thalassians rule!

Void Elf have a deeper and more fleshed out lore than any other fictional race in history…

They’re wholly unique, not sharing any physical traits with the other races and there’s never been anything like them before.

All races are equally awesome.
Except for Draenei (and that Lightforged version as well). Draenei are icky.
