People who spend time and effort forming groups and clearing content would like that to be rewarded with exclusive rewards, of which seeing the content is one.
If you give that to everyone via LFR, then it cheapens the effort others have put in.

yes, somewhat new game, but still, LFR is one of worst addition to WoW of all times.
I was totally against LFR for classic…
however since all this parsing/gearscore nonsense has infested general chat… i am all for an automated group finder - under the provision you have to go upto the raid meeting stone and click on it. No “auto queueing” while sitting on your mount in capital city.
This will help once servers become more quiet - so worth considering.
However i am totally against LFR and a seperate difficulty raid. The whole LFR/normal/flexi/heroic/mythic thing is horrendous, a disgusting treadmill. There should be one difficulty of raid, thats it - some will finish, some will only get to 4th boss, some won’t get past second - however thats part of the challenge/reward

Just because they added things from tbc,wotlk,cata doesn’t mean they want to or should add everything. If you want LFR classic cataclysm is soon here (yes its also classic).
About automated queue system:
Combine these and you have a edited by moderator of a raid with no possibility of clearing. After first wipe you will have people QQing and leaving. Even though gnomeregan is easy raid, there is still some mechanics that require coordination and solo player performance. Raid should always be combined with some thought in mind and automated system simply can’t do this.

Im not being elitist. Raids just should not be something that you jump right into when you ding. Maybe if you are in a guild, since there is more coordination and they are usually people you enjoy playing with. But to put random people together with no requirements would be disastrous. And then devs would have to adjust the raid according to that since the amount of people qqing that they cant complete the raid would end up making the whole raid trivial. At that point why even have a raid when you just could add vendor that sells that gear for low price.
Also I have not once said anything about inspecting logs or requiring 6/6 xp. Its just you projecting mate. Maybe attack arguments with valid counter arguments instead of making strawmans

Wow is a long term game, all of us have raided/pushed arena rating etc… at some point in the last two decades, and know how to play
I am all for a dungeon finder, accept the risk of being grouped with a rubbish/minimally geared player. Part of the enjoyment of the game initially was doing that, made lots of good online friends that way. I remember clearing diremaul after the tank dropped out towards the end, and we improvised with a balance druid and hunter. Great times.
To meet you at the halfway, I got to agree that lfd tool isnt that bad since dungeons have always been easy and aince they are just 5man content you usually can manage if one of the players isnt that good. But we are talking abiut LFR here and that is completely different story.
