Why more DPS warrior nerfs soon?

My question is. Why are fury warriors getting nerfed time after time until it becomes unplayable in Mythic+

Other specializations like Frost Dk’s are far ahead in damage. Where is the logic behind the tuning. I’m not asking warrior dps to be meta, leave it as it currently stands instead of nerfing it into oblivion.

The logic is that Blizzard wants Warriors to only tank, but they can’t delete specs because people would be pissed so they opted to make DPS specs :dog: :poop: so that Warriors are forced to tank if they want to get invited anywhere.

If you are talking about M+ that’s all dps fate not just Warrior’s

What this did was make me delete my warrior instead. She is gone. And I do not regret it. I do not want to tank (at least not this expac) and nobody can force me. But getting nerfed into the ground to the point of being silly, every few days, over and over - yea, it’s not fun.

When I was lower ilvl, it was all quests, fun and games, right. But as my gear improved, I noticed the differences. My lock was getting stronger and stronger, both single-target and AoE, because of gear. But my warrior’s AoE stayed the same, because as my gear improved, Blizzard kept nerfing Fury every week.

What it also did was make my already pathetic single-target damage actually worse. It became blatantly obvious there is a problem when I compared my delve boss fights with my warrior and warlock. Despite the warrior being more geared at the time, the warlock was doing things much much faster. And that’s not because warlock is OP, no. Becasue Fury single-target is trash. All we had was burst AoE (not sustained mind you, and even then that’s bad design for a class) and we kept getting nerfed for it, while fixing none of the issues with the class.

So I deleted my warrior and moved on. I am not playing a class to get nerfed into oblivion for no reason. What am I playing the game for then ? To have all my progress taken away by nerfs ? While other classes continue to grow in power with ilvl ? To take double the time to kill a single boss than other classes because apparently nobody tested single-target damage on a training dummy before TWW released. Just no.

Yeah i get your feeling. I don’t understand why they nerf it so hard. They really want to destroy dps warriors until there’s nothing left.

I agree right now as it stands its all dps fate. But soon warrios get an extra batch of nerfs to their aoe. Soft capping to 5 on odyn’s and roar. There will be no damage left on warriors it’s really to the extreme

I main paladin and I cannot understand the warrior nerfs.

glad that other people also feel the same and understand it

Maybe cuz bli$$ard have the brainrot since 2009.

I guess reason Fury or Arms was so high damage like fun, fight?
Players refuse touch Protection?
I guessed players already loved Protection after TWW out. I see they played a lot tank warroir in dungeons (no m+) and LFR.

Seems like. But destroying dps warrior by capping it even more while leaving other classes untouched is a bit strange.

…mean while prot warriors are doing pretty good dps too…

Oh the irony Blizzard…

As of now, we are not one of the best sustained single target, burst single target, sustained AoE or burst AoE damage dealers!

We have no identity or specific damage profile. So wired.

Well said. I guess its over for us !

:frowning: yes indeed

I don’t remember seeing any prot nerfs and its the best tank

Arms still top 3-4 on heroic raids (nobody here does mythic)

So much QQ because every spec on your “me smash fist on keyboard ooga” class for windowlickers isnt number 1

Yes. Once in a thousand years, when people complain about nerfs…its valid
