Pretty much title. It doesn’t have any logic for mythic rating to not be account wide.
Does the Rio addon shows your score account wide ?
You can link your chars, so if you’re on an alt it says main score = sorta thing
why would you have your mains rating on your fresh alt when theres no reason to assume you can play it properly, until you have something to show for it ?
Because I know the mechanics. Learning a new class isn’t rocket science come on. Plus you get to learn the class from lvl 1 to 70.
You are wrong
It makes perfect logic why your M+ rating isn’t account wide.
You progression and ability on your main, doesn’t represent your progression and ability on your alts.
Now, I respect knowing your score on your main can be useful in selecting who to invite to keys. But as others have pointed out, that’s what Rio is for.
Because the main’s score shows you have knowledge and experience of the dungeon from a M+ perspective!
Rio is an addon and not part of the core game. Blizzard should enhance their official M+ scoring system with all those necessities. Blizzard have in the past incorporated into the game ideas and functionalities from addons, eg bags managers, wardrobes, UI customisation etc. RIO still shows information which is hard/impossible to get from Blizzard, but they (Blizz) ought to catch up.
because Joe said so
Well, considering some of the people I’ve witnessed, I can only assume it is rocket science for some.
I mean, yes. Just like when they introduced M+ score, which they took from Rio.
It’s in Blizzards interests to introduce game improvements which will benefit the entire community. It can be argued that Account-wide M+ rating isn’t the most important improvement, especially when RIO already does it.
It’s not for Blizzard to catch up. It’s not Blizzards intention to put RIO out of business after all. Having communities like RIO actually help the game.
What it doesn’t show is that you can use THIS character on THIS role to it’s fullest extent, which I’d say is an important consideration.
Providing you’ve linked your characters on Raider IO and you use the addon you can see the score of the character and the score of that character’s main. Obviously others can only see this information if they use the addon. There is an arbitrary minimum score required on the alt before it starts linking the main info (around 200).
You can also see people’s raid progress. You do have to update it daily to keep it showing the latest scores. You can do this via curseforge or via their desktop app.
If I don’t have Rio installed can someone with Rio see my score??? On my main and alt?
Only if you have gone on Raider io and claimed your alts and marked one char as your main.
For example this is my main
And you can see on this alt
that it says it’s my alt.
This is because I’ve connected my bnet to raider io and it can see all my characters.
But I can see everyone’s data via rio whether they have the addon or not. Unless they’ve not linked their characters up. Without the link all it gives me is more detailed info on what specific char has done in the dungeon they are applying for.
Cool thank you I’m gonna do it as well for my alts
Me being 2.7k on monk does not mean that I can perform on that level on my alt mage. Playing a class on a level acceptable for a +10 is not a rocket science, for +20 and above it is.
You have to link your chars to your main on rio. Then it will always show your main’s score
