The crafting system has for the 3rd expac in a row now been a let down . There is lack of weapons again and the armour we get can atm only go to 168 .
Why can we not have sets like spellfire in TBC which could last you a whole expac they have ruined proffs in my mind .
Holy paladin I run m+ with lvled up his Shaman, still has bad shield “no worries, I’ll craft one for you so you at least have a 150+ one… oh wait, can only craft a 109 shield”

The shield you can craft accept “crafter marks”.
Have you tried to put a crafter mark II that sets the ilv to 168?
I didnt try it myself but it may work.
They do take crafter’s mark, but the point is that there are 150+ plate gear crafted without the marks but not for shields which is the bad part of blacksmithing right now
Crafting should b a part of the game all of an expasion not just some crap starting gear/weapon jokes. Why they think crafting some blues that are low lvl already after a day or two I just dont know or understand at all. Its a slap in the face on all who want to actualy craft things and be a part of the community that way.
That said, I am a casual and for a long time now I just play for habit and killing time so gear is of no concern of my but it sure as hell is for many, many people who enjoy crafting.
I agree , I’ve had high hopes for professions to be back. Turns out only crafting legendary… and thats it… Im disappointed.
Instead of bothering with legendaries to professions why didnt they make a vendor like Legion? … I dont understand at all. I really miss crafting a recipe item that dropped from Black Temple back in TBC , it provided a bad luck protection and it felt good.
was super hyped after they introduced changes to the profession system. Holly cow i was stupid to think crafted gear would matter at all 
but remember choices matters and we play an rpg :). it is the same system it was in previous addons. nothing new or special.
