Why shouldnt I be able to do LFG with my friends or guildmates that are on another faction. We can be in the same guild and we can go to dungeons and raids but still cant use the lfg system. We can be in the same battleground teams via the mercenary system but we cant que together properly.
When are you gonna stand up and say what we all are waiting for - Faction is a identity and flavour, not something that should hinder the players from having fun together

It’s so annoying that we can do pug content together but heaven forbid you just want to do some levelling dungeons, random dungeons, tw dungeons, LFR etc together with your friends. How could you!

The only thing I can think of is some dungeons have Horde and Alliance quests /shrug I do agree, it’s very frustrating, even in REMIX Pandaria, which has no PVP at all, that you cannot do dailies with your friends, if they play a different faction, and currently, from what I am slightly aware of, (Not a lore guy) Horde and Alliance is pretty much at peace (for now lol)

I was told there’s a way to do it.
You queue up before inviting them, then they request to join your group/you invite them before queue pops and they should be able to join lfd with you.
Not sure if this actually works though, it’s just what I’ve been told.
That’s only in Remix, and it’s a hassle, you cannot re-queue after a dung, you have to constantly invite them after a queue, and it’s only in Remix
They closed a loophole with the last lot of hotfixes so I’m not sure that’s still possible.

Its been bugging me for quite some time and then I saw this news
This made me genuinely mad. It wasn’t hurtng anyone and they have claimed they can’t do it before due to “limitations” on for them to accidentally figure it out and then go NOPE! There was no reason for this.

There was a time long ago where faction war was high and alive but that time has passed indeed. Now even backed with the lore that both factions are at peace and with the War Within, we get a nice villain again… It is safe to say we battle the force together as well.
And even as horde now I do wish I could heal the alliance side as well, so why not in a instance at least?
I can understand with the current ruleset that it is sorta impossible to have the “enemy” receive heals out in the open world. But in an instance at least, these rules could possibly be altered.
Still within the lore, now there is peace (and PVP / War Mode disabled) why not enable healing at least?
I have come across a struggling alliance several times and while my DPS would not have done much to that thing they were fighting, I could have at least topped them off so they could have survived, or even let me res them.
But well that is the healer side inside me making a wish.
That would make sense if you couldnt still do the dungeon together by just traveling there and going in without the lfg tool.

The genre of the game is faction wars. I’m shocked that we even have cross-faction at all.
They should add a checkbox for it on matchmaking.
If you check it in, you can matchmake with Hordies/Alliance otherwise it stays faction-side only.
For the love of god stop flagging Schädenfreud. Flagging his every post is a great massive over reaction.
I didn’t flag them but who made you the arbiter of what may or may not be flagged?

Again, I don’t particularly care but feeding ammo to flag happy people so they can shoot you? It’s self selection at work.
If you flag everyone for every little thing the forum will die. On some forums they would ban people for trivia flagging of posts. This is what is happening here, a protential misuse of the forum flagging feature. He cant post any of the banned words. So its a little colourful, I still wanted to read what he wrote.
