That is true but I remember in wotlk it was atleast a huge thing dueling infront of orgrimmar.

This is the problem, you see the duel just as being beaten around and I see it as actually playing the game and enjoying the duel lol. And maybe from time to time defeating some geared up pve noob.

Why is this a problem? I have fun doing multiple things, BGs, dungeons, gold farming, group quests, profession, raiding etc etc

There’s 2 issues :

People are not “busy” minmaxing or whatever, they just can’t PvP. We can’t get PvP gear due to the insane amount of queue time. So what we do between queue ? We go outdoor in Outland and kill opposite faction for honors. No time to AFK in Durotar …

Duel in TBC are not really interesting at the moment. You need to wait S3 before it start to be a bit “balanced” (outside of SL/SL kekw), and it become really a “thing” in WOTLK where rock-paper-scissor end with a better class balance. Duel vs Rogue as Mage, there’s no real “thing” that are enjoyable to watch at the moment … Rogue will cos, Mage will block blind, it’s mostly like in Classic Vanilla … where everything is “probably predictable”. Imagine duelling a Beast Master Hunter … what an insane amount of plays lol. Not to mention the fact that most duels at the moment are “Oh, my [X] resist, I lost” …
I prefer WOTLK with Shadow dance, Evocation that regen HP, glyphs, … Thing are more interesting in this direction and I think people will really start to duels in WOTLK.
Propose mirror class in BoE greens only duel club at your local Orgri / Storm gates today.
1-people are still busy leveling or farming gear/gold
2-empty servers Or…
2-full servers with too many layers which makes it impossible to find/meet each other once they go outside Org.

Because people got tired about those 1 vs 1 Video with the Linkin Park Song in background. Showing that slow motion when the protagonist of the video get an crit with an Spell/Skill Attack.
You need to play a certain class to enjoy dueling. You can’t do anything with cheap into kidney into blind into sap into another cheap kidney against a rogue if you don’t play a certain class.
OP plays an UD rogue and wonders why noone wants to duel 
Some of the replies in this thread has just proved my point. You play the game for fun. I’d duel on my elemental shaman who practically has no gear. Not just on a rogue. I love dueling it’s one of the funnest parts of WoW for me and I never do it just to “win” that is just the bonus that comes with it. A lot of these replies are all about just winning or not getting a reward.
