Why cant you at blizzard enable bg’s? I loved ranking. Or is it not possible for your devs to code it properly that the game excludes death’s in a bg? Billion dollar company.

Turning BGs off was deliberate choise for HC worlds. You can still play Wargames, but I can’t say if HC characters die there permanently too.
Anyway if HC BG would be a thing everyone would end as rogue twink sitting in shadows waiting for someone to open up untill time runs out or BGs would be short with 1-3 people left as the result of the fierce 1 minute clash. Maybe fun at lvl 19, but not further.

I really don’t understand why we would want battlegrounds on this type of server. Go to Vanilla Classic if you miss it so much. You don’t have to be on a HC server, you know.

Why would u make a hardcore server, and thrn deactivate the whole ruleset of hardcore theyve applied? Lol.
Its not about being unable to code it. Its about the fact it litterally destroys HCs purpose. Play normal servers if this is ehat your after, HC isnt about BGs, and no there shouldnt be any exemption.
If you can code it better maybe you should go out there and build up a game better than WoW that will have implemented all the things that suit your needs.

I believe they die there too, it’s explained in the Rules of Engagement:-
PVP BATTLEGROUNDS AND WARFARE
PvP battlegrounds are completely disabled, as are all PvP Battlemasters. You may still enter premade Wargames, but you may not gain honor or PvP reputations from Wargames.While PvP is a fun part of World of Warcraft, by allowing players to enter battlegrounds on one-life characters, there is a concern that this would lead to overly defensive play, often to the point of non-participation, especially when you consider how powerful some rewards are from factions such as Stormpike Guard and the Frostwolf Clan. PvP is not the focus of the Hardcore game mode, so we’ve decided to disable normal PvP queuing entirely. If you wish to test yourself in pre-arranged Wargames, however, that’s an available option. Wargames confer no honor or other rewards. Beware—if you engage in Wargames, death is still permanent.

Personally I’d have liked safe-death BGs (not unlike a number of PvP minigames in OSRS) just as something to actually do at 60 since I never had any intention of gambling with trying to raid in a HC setting.
As it stands currently I’m likely just going to quit at 60 but more power to those who won’t I suppose.
