Why not Sethraks?

Well Mechagnomes are sadly here to stay but never the less the damage is done and alliance got another mediocre race to go along with their DI dwarve, void elves and fatty humans. Damage is done just gotta pray the next batch is interesting :+1:

whoever intends on playing their mechagnomes have fun :innocent:

Macaw actually exist, Sethrak do not. What point are you even trying to make here? There are a lot of beast races in wow, why is a fox beast race less realistic than a snake, cow, panda, walrus, fish, wolf or goat beast race? I’ve never seen any of these animals walking, talking and wearing clothes in real life.

Honestly expected Vulpera to get a Tauren version of Paladins “Sunwalkers” moreso than Warlocks.

I still think they should be a playable race though

Version two please!
I want to decimate my opponent with my helmet

Left. The rest is just flappy neck-flesh and he’d survive if it were cut into. Hence those MASSIVE piercings!

The left is very in line with how Taurens get to wear helms  :cow:

The rest is all cow-mane. It’s designed to be chomped on and let them get away from the predator.

  • Sethrakk have a massive unweildy head that also ruins shoulder pieces, not just the head.

  • Sethrakk are predominantly part of the Faithless faction. They don’t like the Horde or Alliance.

  • The few that are nice would prefer the Horde, but we already got the Vulpera

  • Vulpera use the Goblin model and are far more developed than the Sethrakk, who just vaguely re-use the Worgen model

  • Vulpera have far more reason to join the Horde, whereas the Sethrakk are greatly independant

Sethrak literally have 0 reason to join the alliance

You interact with them for 10 min tops at the war campaign. If anything the horde would have gotten them aswell seeing as they slew their corrupted emperor and freed their loa

Sethrak probably will go horde as well if there will be another wave of allied races. You barely have any contact with them at all as allies except for unlocking some quests for the flightpath.

The next allied races probably will be sethrak for the horde and ankoan for the alliance

Isn’t that a worgen hands and legs xD.
I guess, the snakes would be an alt for worgen.

Because 12 year olds are scared of snakes and find Vupera cute.
And snakes are seen as a bad omen in CHINESE CULTURE.

Why Sethraks, Vulpera, OR mechagnomes?

Seriously, why would any of these races join the alliance or horde?

Why?

It’s just stupid.

“Hey we’re neutral to these two factions… LET’S MAKE ONE OF THEM AN ENEMY I’M SURE THAT’LL BE FUN!”

That is utter rubbish, and a wee bit racist. Snakes are far from a bad omen in Chinese Culture, and make up 1 of the 12 zodiac signs, the Snake is seen as a thing of Insight and Wisdom, and is fairly favoured. It is categorically 100% not a bad omen.

Well, in the case of the Vulpera, for protection from the Alliance, who did kinda rock up out of nowhere and start burning their caravans and killing their people, who had not taken any hostile actions towards a people they -did not know existed!- Sethrak and Mechagnomes, ehh, No idea, perhaps the Mechagnomes just because the initial iteration of their race is Alliance? Same as Highmountain Tauren, or Lightforged Draenei.

Most beastial races also have large heads that ruin the helmet mogs, And imo the worgen’s hunch also ruins some shoulder mogs. But I mean I don’t really see that as an issue.

Most Nightborne we’ve encountered were also part of Elisande’s troops or the Felborne. And guess what?

How do you know they prefer the Horde? The Alliance have also helped them, infact our war campaign commander even says that he wants the Alliance to keep in contact with them and befriend them/support them. Kinda like how Liadrin and the Blood elves kept in touch with the Nightborne

Can be easily fixed by giving them new animations, modify their model, etc. And as far as looks go, they’re already pretty unique looking.

I was actually hoping for a Vulpera Horde vs Sethrak Alliance tbh. Would be far more interesting storywise imo. Also far more interesting than what the Alliance ended up getting…

Why? sethrak? first of all alliance don’t have strong connections with them like horde with rodents, second…we get it there are people who realy like antropomorthic animals but we have enough of them in the game already. If that desperatly want snakes with breats go play x-com2

Assuming you meant Breasts there, then, uhh. Naga?

I mean yes, any sort of reptile with breasts makes no sense whatsoever, however sadly they already exist. I’d have loved Sethrak, but I would have been in stitches with laughter if the female ones had lady bumps…

Also, Foxes are quite categorically not Rodents, they fall under the grouping of ‘Canidae’ same as dogs and wolves, in particular ‘Vulpes’ which is all Foxes, and the playable ones, as Fennec Foxes, would be ‘Zerda’.

So they aren’t Rodents, they are Canines.

Science is a beautiful if baffling at times, thing.

Maybe not so much with the Mechagnomes as both factions helped them but the Horde are very much Allied with the Vulpera. Their interactions with the Alliance weren’t so good.

The Sethrakk have a cobra-frill that is just too large. They would require too much upper body gear modification, whereas other beast races that are playable are far more managable.

That was the elite high class, not the common folk. A large part of Sethrakk society is willingly Faithless. Most of the Nightborne just kept their heads down and followed the cause.

Same reason the Horde won’t get Kul Tirans. The Alliance did the bare minimum compared to the Horde efforts and cooperation with Sethrakk in the Vol’dun story.

So “if we bend over backwards” is your argument.

Again, A) The Sethrakk have no reason to choose the Alliance over the Horde, and B) They have very little reason to join a side at all.
