Why people are so toxic

No wonder why there are no healers and tanks in this game anymore.
I was healing in Blood Furnace (a weekly event) when the tank pulled the whole room before the first boss. As many players should know, there are moobs in that room that silence you. I got silenced two times in a row, and the tank died. The next thing I knew, I got kicked from the dungeon.
A similar thing happened when I tried to tank. I got kicked because I wasn’t pulling the whole room. What is wrong with people these days? And they wander why dps have to wait 30 min to get a tank or a healer.
Grow up and try to respect other people. If you want the tank to pull more, just ask in chat. If you want to pull more make sure the healer is near you and doesn’t get silanced.

Automatic systems is partly why… there is no reason to be nice you will never see them again.

Well, aside from quoting Slipknot lyrics, There isn´t really all that much to add…

Tanks were stupid overpowered for years, especially in legacy and casual content. Most casuals however never got the memo that tank tuning was being changed in TWW, nor the one about the updated Timewalking tuning.

So they run in thinking they can just blast, and when they can´t it must be everyone else´s fault.

And as soon as someone competent comes in and does it properly, it’s too slow.

Haven´t tanked or healed for randoms since 8,3 and my life has been all the better for it. For my friends or guildies? FFS, sure, any content, any time… but if there´s even one random in the grp, then I´m not in the group anymore. The only thing RDF or pugging m+ are good for is quickly smashing out a trivial quest a 4 AM and /or expanding my ignore list. :beers:

I think it is more reason they added old dungeon in any new expansion now. Nobody want do old dungeon! They need to STOP doing it!

It’s just symptom of the times we live in.

I think I might be getting moobs. I need to exercise more.

It’s pretty simple.

  1. Blizzard wants to earn more money.
  2. They fire game masters.
  3. They introduce automatic systems.
  4. People started abusing automatic systems.

To put things back on track, Blizzard should remove all automatic systems and hire lots of game masters.

Another alternative is to employ sophisticated AI, to actually analyze chats and other factors. At this point, I believe, it is possible and it would significantly improve automatic systems over “10 reports = ban”. But Blizzard is incredibly slow with technological advances, so probably need to wait another 20-30 years for that.

Would old dungeons still fun

It’s not that people are toxic— it’s that we live in a time when people are too sensitive, hence this thread.

I’ll put myself in your shoes, I got kicked because I wasn’t pulling the whole room.

What I would do next is— I would queue up for the next dungeon, pull the entire room, and then leave the group.

If it’s not against the ToS, it’s not toxic.

I’ve not run a single normal or heroic dungeon this expac, using only the follower dungeon system and it has been soooo peaceful and stress free. I really hope they do more with it.
They should rename it to knob free dungeons

For TW it’s 5 minutes tops. Don’t exaggerate to make a point.

In TW a level 10 can also, literally, two-shot every single mob with just using Spinning Crane Kick as Mistweaver.

The expectation is just set horrendously off, based on the messed tuning. One run it’s all dead within a GCD or three, the next time people die pretty much instantly.

Difficult game makes people toxic specially when you have something to lose like depleting key. That makes people think twice about who to go with and do stuffs with because nobody wants their key depleted and time wasted.

As I said a lot. Group content should not be this difficult. Solo content can be because if you can’t kill something you can only blame yourself but once the group fails people will start pointing fingers why they can’t beat certain things.

Yes there are a lot of players that are only nice when they have something to benefit.

Perhaps it’s why they have to find pugs because no one wants them in their guild or community.

Some come to mind but id rather not get banned
