But please bring your facts. I just rolled alliance after couple of years being horde.
We win 80% of bgs. Random bgs and quite quite many epic ones. M+ community is also strong.
I am part of bg and wpvp groups. Things run nice smoothly and very very enjoyable.

Both factions are equally good/bad. The horde has cooler races overall, though that is subjective. Factionism is really dumb and only belongs on pvp servers. And since pvp servers are a thing of the past, factionism belongs in the trash can with them.
because the alliance has a far smaller population for end game stuff. And since you are talking about pvp. Why play alliance when horde got mercenary mode and can play on both sides anyway. The bigger population gains more while the smaller one bleeds out
It is odd, Horde who have the most and best PVP players get mercenary mode. Really, they not only eat their cake, they get to keep it too.
It should have been alliance who got mercenary mode.

Honestly cant even stand horde, i always que’d as alliance.
There was 2-3 times that i was stunned by ppl’s actions and then ive seen that my buff had run out and i was horde.
The alliance would really and very SERIOUSLY DOMINATE BGs if there was not so many russ/ger/FR premades that are literally a plague on BG’s
That really doesn’t help.
I remember back to when the korrak revenge event first released. I would find mercenary mode horde AFK on final alliance bunker. They wanted quick EXP wins and used their options to make it harder for an alliance win there.
On top of the non-stop Russian premades on Horde side which were then and still are a massive problem.

Alliance is generally more appealing to new players, although it doesn’t show as much on higher level content such as +15 keys, Mythic Raiding and Arena…
… it certainly shows on the entry levels. Player skill is incredibly bad, going into a new season of Arena or M+ with Randos is certainly a unpleasant facepalming experience.
Thankfully RIO helps us rule them out these days. Which is good for high end players, but really bad for entry level players as it gives the incentive that others don’t want to play with them.
Another reason is that Alliance is more popular to roleplayers… and they really suck at anything and everything that requires the ability to press more than 2 keys unless it’s fast typing roleplay.
Alliance in a nutshell: A male draenei in a terrible transmog joins your M+ group.
I would honestly only recommend the alliance if Battlegrounds are your primary fun in the game. Every other reason, go Horde. Better racials, more interesting lore, appearances and a more adult community.
That’s the main reason why I actually switched from horde after 10 years. Waiting 10min to get into a BG? That’s a waste of time. Alliance does loose slightly more often, but overall your experience will be PvP and not waiting for a queue to pop.
No, we really don’t. Not at max level anyway, sure at low levels but I would argue that those are veteran Horde PvP’ers giving the Alliance faction a try.
A lot of PvP’ers don’t want to do the endgame grind for Azerite, Essences and Visions for cloak upgrades.
I’ve leveled 3 hunters to max level in the past couple of weeks, all through low level battlegrounds. Because it’s actually more fun… sucks though, because it shouldn’t be disappointing to reach max level.
Why would you even want that?
It would mean you would loose more BG’s and have a lot bigger que time xD

Can tell you for sure im a really fat equipped healer but i dont think it was me who made the bg a success, more like the faction.
So i could long queue knowing that I would have 90%+ probability of going into a PVP event like korraks knowing I would experience: a true team push, no campers on bunker tops and most likely a fun win rush to the end.
Getting stomped repeatedly isn’t fun.
I made a temp horde during that event for example, and it was like riding a wave. The alliance got rolled and it was fun being on the winning side with all the right stuff happening.
To be fair on the BG front, half your team are Horde mercenaries anyway.
I can’t speak for PvE content Alliance side, never really done much more than level. Some folks who I’ve played with in the past have went Alliance seem pretty content. I don’t think a smaller population equals bad, just a shame the ratio as bad as it is at the moment.
Nah, honestly i would rather play alliance instead of horde whilst im a horde fanatic.
Win ratio was better for me and the DWARF RACIAL OMG xD
Cause alote of the bgs are just a straight out auto-lose cause you get people like this guy in your chat with 0 exp in anything, basically an LFR hero if you will. And just remember this is one of your -two- healers

and then his healing will be rivalled by DPS or beneath your hybrid healers.
To win as alliance in a random bg you need two things.
If you don’t do those things you’ve lost the game
Like B & T - ignore them …
Oh and not to name shame anyone but to be that guy if you don’t have even 10k hp why the F are you queued for level 50 PvP T.T Literally dead weight team mates by that point.
I have used mercenary mode as Alliance in the past but it’s a queue relieving system. It would serve no purpose to currently be active for Alliance at present.
That is it current intent yes, but I would enjoy being able play on the more PVP focused side when faced with special PVP events like Korraks.
and most of them will ignore this anyway because the alliance has tons of people in their groups from other server languages wich often dont even speak english
