Why play DH ?

Well i was thinking to main a DH but why wod I ? Whats so good about beeing a DH ?

It’s probably the easiest class to play if you dps: -

  • Decent damage
  • Simple 2-3 button rotation
  • ST and AoE rotations are identical
  • Passive survivability from Leech and Blade Dance’s dodge
  • Ridiculous mobility

There’s literally no learning curve, so you can perform well even if you’re a novice.

I can’t say much for tanking though, I’ve never bothered on my DH.

Im a person who played outlaw rogue, MM and BM hunter and found them boring compared to DH. I am not a pro, but wouldn’t call myself a casual either.

The good things about Havoc DH are:

  • Incredibly fun thx to awesome animations, double jumps and wings
  • badass looks
  • easier to become a decent player at it. Can do good dps
  • very quick and mobile - easy to stay on your opponent
  • awesome utility spells
  • survivability is good with 10% leech skill lol
  • nice lore

However:

  • this spec is not incredibly hard (its not sub rogue lol), so mainly you will need to think about your enchants, essences and gear, rather than use of skills. There are definitely things to learn tho, when it comes to spell use
  • since the rotation is fairly simple, you may get bored

to me personally the lore, other than that you have

fastest class
free glider-kit
very easy class < this one can be good or bad depends on you

the bad thing about it imo

no satisfaction if being top dps

You give everyone a 5% magical dmg bonus & its easy as piss to play

Because it’s fun.
Because running through a pack of mobs, taking a couple of swipes at them with demon’s bite on the way, then turning round and eye beaming them is awesome.
Because the rotation is simple, so you have lots of attention to spare for looking at the cool animations.
Because you can throw yourself off a high place, in a new zone, with no idea what you’re going to land in, and be fairly sure you’ll survive it.

If you never tanked vengeance is also pretty simple when you do “easy” content like low keys in mythic so it can be a good way to learn tanking, though I wouldn’t recommend it for more difficult content if you are new to tanking since it’s not very good atm so it can be challenging at higher difficulties.

Tried DH at the start of the legion and got bored of it at level 106. Only thing i found fun in DH was the gliding everything else just felt meh.

Few weeks ago i visited my demon hunter and after 10 minutes i just logged off and deleted it.

I am not sure why you would ever complain about having an easy rotation.

The less cognitive resources you need to use on your damage rotation, the more you can focus on other things, like raid leading, communication and planning; and your probability of error is reduced.

  1. S Tier everything wise (PVE + PVP)

  2. Amazing Lore

  3. Easy to learn & master

  4. Aesthetics (Best looking class)

Definitely Blizzard’s favourite class number 1 , same here with me Demon-Hunter is my favourite and my favourite WoW Hero is Illidan Stormrage.

It’s definitely " The Baller " + " The High Roller " + " The Shot Caller " out of all the Classes in WoW.

My favourite number 1 : DH

Then comes the following 3 (All are on the same level for me which is number 2) :

Warlock, Mage & Rogue.
