Why Premade?

Can someone please explain to me why there are so many premades it’s actually worse than original classic ranking at 60, which actually justified having to sit at the computer for up to 18 hours a day’s to get rank 14.

So it can’t be for honor because the cap is rank 3 which you can literally get by doing almost nothing in 2 weeks max.

It can’t be rep because you can literally get rev cap in a few days afking in Ashenvale if you choose to.

What is the appeal of face rolling pugs for hours on end??? It’s basically one of the most boring things you can do in this game and the novelty wears off pretty quickly.

I’m struggling to see what’s going on and why it’s even a thing this early in the game. It’s actually quite pathetic & has basically ruined low lvl BGs which was always a fun part in lvling in classic.

The reason there’s so many premades and why people do it on end are twofold:

  1. what dafaq else to do after the ID is up
  2. I am a roflstomp enjoyer and its quite fun tearfarming (this used to be classic spirit once)

On the contrary, when I solo queue the most fun I ever had was going against a premade with randos, all agreeing we’ll just go out there and have fun annoying them as much as we can, and we actually won that game… What I would have wished to hear that discord rage!

I mean I guess it’s fun if you’ve never ranked before for the first 10 games or so. I think any sane person who has spent a ridiculous amount of time in BG ranking would agree that face rolling pugs all day is probably the worst thing about ranking. It’s so mind numbingly boring Im amazed some people actually get something out of that.

I agree not all premades are good and most are probably below average pvpers that join them, but that doesn’t matter when you have the correct setup and the pug players generally give up before the match has even started.

Just seems like such a pointless waste of time to me when there’s nothing to achieve. You could basically have more fun playing random pug matches that are at least semi competitive and still get the same results with rank & rep.

Here’s how it works in WoW, son.

If there is a bar to fill towards X - there will be groups of people grinding to fill it and if that bar gives actual benefits when filled - oboy.

Now, in case of WSG:

  1. You can only get Exalted through WSG now, after Revered you get no more rep from Ashenvale.
  2. At Exalted you get some good epic gear piece out of Silverwing vendor at 40 and even more at 50/60, so it’s a future investment.
  3. You also get Honor and ranks, at Sergeant there is a pretty decent cloak already at vendor and more so later.

Because you are at a disadvantage if you don’t premade.

Because some people have friends and want to play with them?

Right so that clears it up I thought they capped all rep at rev. I guess they missed the boat on that one and destroyed low lvl BGs.

And I’m not your son, you spunk trumpet. Taking classic to a whole new level hurling out insults from 2004 rofl

Glad to have taught you something new.

Nothing personal, kid.

Lol followed up with a 2007 TBC era insult GG

Bottom line is people dont like to lose. Im forced to queue WSG in a premade or else it is just 10 games in a row of people who are terrible atthe game but are in a premade so have more co-ordination and win with ease. Its going to kill SoD until p2 if they dont sort it

~on things that never happened more than once in 100 games.
don’t skip math classes kids, you learn statistics and the way to interpret numbers

I have neither the crayons nor the patience to explain singular in English to you.
But you may collect your participation trophy on your way out.

How about friends play against other friends?

It’s fairly quick but not instant to get to rank 3, and people want to because there’s a bis cape in it.

So if you want to farm honor atm, WSG is the place, and that goes markedly faster if you grab your 9 people you usually raid with and form a premade.

The appeal is to have fun by dominating an opponent through better coordination. Like you know, playing better and winning.

you don’t need to explain the singular to me but try to understand it yourself. if you bring an example that happened ONCE in who knows how many games then it’s not smt you need to mention in a talk on if smt is fine or not. If on the other hand you wanted to talk for more games then it’s again a school issue.

They already do.

Some do it for honor for alts, mostly it’s for warsong rep for Exalted. You can’t get Exalted in Ashenvale, only WSG
