Why RDF is needed, why you all want it and why any other take is wrong

I bumped into many of the same people, in a pug, yes. While you’re leveling, the pool of players that will have the same time availability, the same dungeon eligibility, and make a compatible group is not going to be the full population of the server. In those niche circumstances, you are likely going to bump into those people both inside and outside the dungeon.

I was showing you how ridiculous your argument, which was saying I didn’t pug, is by judging it by your own subjective experiences.

You cannot make that argument, and then say its an invalid argument when its used against you. Its exactly the same argument, and that is the point I made. Stop being hypocritical.

So you think that for 99% of PUGs the social part is the “LF1 TANK HFC!”
That is probably why you don’t think pugs are social then.

Making the pug isn’t meant to be the only social part, its the behaviour you have inside the group. If the people are from your realm, and are at your lvl/gearlvl, are able to play similar hours to you, and make a compatible group composition then you’re likely going to be social with these people as you may see them again.

If its just an expendable rando that you’ll never see again, then you’re going to act differently. And we see that in the difference between dungeons in retails vs classic. If you can’t wrap your head around that then you shouldn’t be trying to argue against it. Your argument of “Don’t believe your lying eyes” isn’t a very effective one.

Because a game and food are clearly the same thing. What even is that…

Says the guy comparing a steak with an MMORPG. Seriously, now I’m starting to think you’re just trolling.

I think you need to go eat mate

I think you all need to read up on the Dungeon finder, as none of us seem to remember how it really worked back then. I surely did not (Most of all for not using it until the end of Wrath)
Scroll down on this page and read the history of RDF all the way back to TBC :D.

Ok so while you level it’s totally possible to run into the same players all the time. But you can’t just go and translate this experience to every dungeon. Especially not at max level. You made it sound like it’s a common thing in every dungeon of firemaw.

No you just embarrassed yourself, because you tried to turn the logic around, which didn’t work.

When I say you don’t look wet, so I doubt you’ve been in the water right now. That’s a logical conclusion. If you than say: “Oh yeah?! But you look wet, so I think you haven’t been in the water.” It’s just nonsense.

No it’s not. And by now you make me doubt your intelligence.

I have shocking news for you: You can be social in an RDF group to. Even if everybody in the group is from another server you can still talk to them and you can even exchange battle net IDs or discord and keep in touch.

No I don’t because I don’t put a value on people depending on if I see them again or not. I don’t treat people in an RDF group any different than people from my server.
If you have a mindest like this than your mindest is the problem and not the RDF.

No my argument is you can’t just assume the community in Retail is like it is because of the RDF. There are a lot of differences and nobody can tell why it’s different. We can just make assumptions and no matter how often you repeat your assumption it will never be more than that.

It’s called a metaphor. So for you I spell it out. Just because you enjoy something, doesn’t mean you have to enjoy the whole process. I like doing dungeons but I dislike forming groups. Did this sink in now?

Anything is better than talking with you. No wonder you are against the RDF. Nobody would want to put up with you for just a short while if they wouldn’t have to.
But you have to understand that forcing people to interact with you is wrong. You should rather reflect on your behaviour and change so you are more likeable.

Why are you so weird about this…

I give my, and what a lot of people say, is their experience of pugs

You say I didn’t pug because that was my experience.

I reverse your logic on you: if that wasn’t your experience then it sounds like you “obviously didnt pug a lot”

You’re not outsmarting anyone, you just look like you have a reading comprehension issue.

Man why do posts like that still exist? RFD is great and is a known fact that anti-RFD people(if you can even call them that) have room temperature IQ and are terrible at the game.

Let’s just hope they implement the feature at some point during the expansion. Until then all we can do is ignore and deny the”muh community” idiots from joining our party and raids
