I have all the sanctum buildings at level 1. I see no reason to upgrade them, am I missing something? I know you earn more Anima with higher levels but I’m not sure I’d benefit much from this as I’m not running Korthia any more nor doing Callings that often.
Mission Table, I have the mounts and 6 or 7 followers at 60 and a bunch more in their 50s. Have the mounts and pets from this. Not sure what an Upgraded Mission Table would give me.
Transport Network. Never really saw the point of this and having flying now have even less reason to upgrade.
Anima Conductor, I have unlocked fully the first two activities and earned a few hundred Offerings. I can at least see that maybe a few more activities could earn me more (don’t know how many I need).
Queen’s Conservatory, I did one seed in this, got some fairy wings and pixie dust taking up space in my already nearly full bags. I’ve not really engaged with Professions for a while so not really sure what I’d get from this.
I have 43k anima which sounds like quite a bit but this will get all my buildings to level 2 with enough left over to get one building to level 3.
With all buildings at 2 will I make so much Anima I won’t know what to do with it or will I just feel like I wasted all my anima?
I personally like the portal to oribos, so the teleportation network i got on ‘all’ my chars on 3. On the ones i don’t, i am too lazy to grind the souls
The anima conductor is basically a Season 1 content filler, you can unlock some mogs and mounts via the grateful offerings tho.
The command table upgrades are lackluster, if you pull together a good team you’ll just stomp trough most missions anyway. It’s also not that useful anymore as you can get gear and currency it provides way faster and in way higher quantities.
The transport network was of great use until we got flying, now it’s pretty much there to unlock a portal to Oribos in your Sanctum.
The covenant specific sanctum features (Stiching Yard, Ember Court etc) are a nice touch that can once again get you some transmogs and mounts (and some achievement points) but thats pretty much it.
At least now that you can stockpile anima really fast the upgrades are easy to pull off, if you dont mind to make some tours to the Maw to rescue souls for it.
With the Forge of Bonds becoming available in Zereth Mortis as well, those who play from day 1 have pretty much next to 0 reason t go their covenant sanctums anymore, unless you just switched and do the daily calling s for some renown farm.
The only useful part is the Oribos portal. If you don’t need or want that, no reason to upgrade it.
Anima Conductor
Absolutely no reason to upgrade it at this point. It was the only way to get the Legendary Lottery in 9.0, but that’s no longer the case. There may be some collectibles that require the conductor, but I’m not sure, I’m not a collector, and you don’t seem to be one, either.
Conservatory
It’s a decent way to farm materials. If that’s not your thing, and you don’t want the few transmogs therein either, absolutely no reason to.
Mission table
If you’re not farming the mission table, no reason to. I found it beneficial to upgrade it on my farmers, because faster missions (the last upgrade; the 2nd upgrade, faster healing outside of missions has always been pointless) meant I was able to do more gold missions. I long stopped checking missions often enough for this to matter, so upgrading the table isn’t important either.
Anima gain
If you have 40k and nothing to spend it on, then earning more is rather pointless, is it not?
