Honestly depressing this thread. OP starts with a childish rant about some people doing /spit on him for supporting Blizzard services that diminish the game, which is toxic apparently, which is a joke to say. Another social media baby who throws the word toxic at anything.
Then the god awful arrogant passive ones who think they’re above it all by saying what’s wrong with it etc. At least complainers have a reason to be here.
Players of this game pay for the game, they have the right to complain about these paid for extras that were never in the game originally. Butthurt over someone emoting you? Just stop playing and stay in your safe spaces, or just block emotes, although I hope everyone spits on you.
P.s. I don’t mind the boost since it’s a one off, but everyone is allowed to complain - except the OP of course, what a crybaby.

I am sorry to say I can’t deliver a specific trait which is unique to both game services and other amoral services. However, the lack of such a trait doesn’t implicate the opposite.
It’s quite clear that games are made to be enjoyed, and they are not harmful in of themselves, even though they can be used for self-destructive behavior (as everything can be, even fundamental things such as water).

I don’t like boosted characters, but the one which gets me most is the douchebags who sit on the store mount with the enlarge potion flexing sat on a mail box. Then they wonder why people /spit at them?

100% agree. It would help as well if the mount wasn’t so big and ugly, and if it didn’t slide across the ground like it’s on ice since the walking animation doesn’t match it’s speed at all.

Why is it acceptable for people to complain about the mount/boost. But it’s not acceptable for op to complain about people spitting on him? This sounds like some next level bullying mentality.

More generic EdgeLord replies. “Imagine thinking”. As for making things up, nobody has said the /spit emote is used in an effort to get people to quit the game. It seems to me, you’re making that up. Most people do it as a way of saying “This is what I think of your decision to purchase a store mount” or “I don’t like you as a player for your purchasing the store mount”.
Hold your balls and stand behind what you say instead of using generic meme-humour you hear spouted from every other asinine streamer.
Seriously; some advice for you; I don’t know how old you are, but when someone uses those phrases and sayings made popular by streamers, it makes people automatically assume said person is under the age of 16.
Now, you can say “imagine thinking it comes from a streamer” all you like in some vain attempt to cover yourself, but it might not have been coined by a streamer, but haven’t you noticed how once they use it, EVERYONE starts using it?

Actually one of the first replies in this thread was, and I’m paraphrasing now “good! that’s the reason behind it”. It appears it finally has been deleted and that the OP is on a vacation. That I was standing up against.
I was against their greedy monetization, such as the ridiculous pricing for the deluxe addition and for adding stuff that wasn’t there in the first place. However, people pointed out things like RAF and the TGC items, I’m less against it. The pricing is still ridiculous. It’s fine to direct your anger at Blizzard, but when we have comments such as the one I just typed earlier, that crosses a line for me.
I’m way older than all those streamers and I hardly watch them in the first place. I’ve been familiar and using terms such as projection when one of my friends first coined it when he had learned it in university and explained it’s meaning back in the late 90s.
