Why some armors does not appear in transmog?

As example, i made Throne of Thunder dungeon and got boss drops, yet some are not added into appearance, like Lost Shoulders of Fire, or Robes of Mutagenic Blood. I am druid and i can wear them all. They look good but are low level, so it is really sad they wont appear in appearances :frowning:

There are some pieces that are class specific aswell. lets say you found a plate appearance on a paladin, but its only for paladins, you wont see it on your warrior or death knight

I can wear it but it is cloth and not leather, maybe this is the case?

Aah ok i understand now, since you area a leather class, you can only add leather appearances to you collection. if you want to add cloth you need to get it on a cloth class.

leather classes can waer leather and cloth but not mail and plate.

plate classes can wear all of the armor(plate mail cloth leather.) but can only add plate to their appearances

Yep as TinyBadger said, must be pimary armor leather for Druid as the support article also mentions this:

  • Armor must be the same primary armor type your character uses. This must be true for both learning the appearance, and using it for transmogrification.
    • For example, a rogue’s primary armor type is leather. A warrior’s is plate.

I think transmog should be craftable as a cosmetic item by crafters and need to require some special ingredients or quest chain to complete to be able to craft, like an attunement.

Another thing to bear in mind is that some items are Tradeable (if you’re in a group) or Refundable (if you bought it off a vendor). These will have a time window where you can either trade that item to another group member or refund it to the vendor, this will show in the tooltip.
Items will not be added to your wardrobe until this window is closed. You can close this window by transmogging it on the character that acquired it. Then it will be in your wardrobe for your other character to use.
