The fact that you can upgrade the Conquest Gear to ilvl 226 and pick the piece of gear you want should already be insane. Its equivalent of Mythic Raiding and being able to pick what loot the Mythic Boss drops. There is also the Great Vault that lets you pick a piece of Gear.
You are all acting like everyone is going to clear the Mythic Raid within the first Week of release.

well, the item quality being good isn’t a great argument for why people shouldn’t be complaining about item quantity.
normal and heroic will be. mythic kills will start coming in gradually. looking at maybe 2-3 items per week from raiding i’d think while pvp sits at less than 1. granted, you don’t pick and choose the raiding ones, but the sheer quantity disparity will outweigh that. you could say pvp gets the weekly chest, but then so does raiding and m+.
The time to get weapons is too long.

I mean it is significant better than BFA. And i assume you will get random Gear drops from PvP. If i remember correctly in BFA, if you were 2400 rating + you had a chance to drop Ilvl 120 Gear after every rated game. Is it not like that in SL?
Fortnite is better than BFA.
It’s still worse than WoD, MoP or Cataclysm.

yeah no random gear drops now, just the vendor and weekly chest. it’s a pretty good system, and the quality of items is quite good as you said. 550 is just too low of a cap to keep up with the rate at which you can gear up from pve, or be even close really. it won’t matter at the end of the season, but during the gearing up phase it’s a pretty big deal.

Oh i see, but if the Conquest Cap is to high, then PvE Players would be forced to do PvP. Especially for Hardcore Mythic Raiders.
Are you new on this sub forum? They complain about everything. Free conquest gear from chest + 2k rating = mythic gear ilvl? Complain. Like what you want mythic Level weapons after 2 weeks?

maybe? my guild probably wouldn’t. i don’t know if i like the idea of designing gearing systems around what a tiny minority of a tiny minority is going to do. those people will be doing their armor stack split runs with their 5 alts and what have you. also, if they were to do that, they’ll do it now as well. will be tricky to get good weapons from pve most likely, raid only has 2 bosses that drop weapons for me at least.
We dont want it high, we just dont want to have to wait 2 weeks just to buy one peice of gear.
What would be in your opinion a fair Conquest Cap?
some where around 800-1000

i think 750 is a fairly reasonable request that could actually plausibly happen.

oh guess what, now we - pvp players - are forced to do mythics and raids
that’s fair, yeah?
we just want one damn item per week, really, that’s not “loot shower” mate

Did you ever play anything that wasnt Legion/BFA or why that weird statement ?
yeah it truly is insane that you can actually do pvp with pvp gear now. Mindblowing and totally not reinvented from a system that proved to work in the past

I mean you are not forced to do anything. As i mentioned earlier, if you get to much Gear from PvP, then PvE Players are forced to do PvP.
zzzz people brought up this argument in BFA already, yet if you want to be somewhat competitive in PvP you do. Stop with this nonsense please.

I played WOTLK and getting full PvP Gear took a long time. The PvP Gear in WOTLK had resilience which is less useful in PvE than Vers.
? It didnt take a long time, what are you on about lol. You could farm your PvP gear quite fast in Wotlk, it wasnt much different from cata/mop aswell + you had a PvP stat which made it better than PvE by default (obviously there were outlier PvE Items but people also didnt clear heroic in the first week on release)
Yeah how about the Counter argument? PvE Players would be forced to do PvP to compete with the Top Mythic Raiders.
