Why tf are you complaining about the 550 Conquest Cap?

Kyrian ret got nerfed, you must be sad :cry::cry:

U talk about casual stuff u have no clue about and u have no title from bfa means u didnt play and u probably dont know how annoying the pve grinde was in bfa.

If pvpers where forced to pve to be competitive whole bfa what is the problem to it happen other way around?

There is no problem with that per se.
In fact, with the way gear is designed it sort of does encourage some overlap between PvP and PvE.
So if PvEers do some PvP to compliment the quality of their gear, and PvPers do some PvE to compliment theirs, then as far as the design goes, that’s a great success.
And that’s probably also what we’re going to see.

Yes we going to see that but is that what pvpers want? No. Reason why ppl asked for vendors were to not pve mainly for gear. Clearly spamming m+ or raiding is more profitable than 1 ring, trinket or neck only this week because of conquest cap.

Well if you want to, then you still can do PvP or PvE exclusively. I mean, both venues provide provide a path to a full set of competitive gear.

But you can obviously speed up your gearing process if you double dip, so to speak, and do a bit of both.

But the fact that you can do that doesn’t mean that it isn’t perfectly viable to just do one or the other. It is.

If you just want to do PvP, then just do that.
Between your Honor gear and the Conquest items you earn, and the upgrades you make, you’ll incrementally improve week by week. In terms of being competitive, then you’re going to end up where you ultimately want to be - full Conquest gear. The path to getting there is just less min/max oriented than someone who does both PvP and PvE to great success.

All they needed to add pvp stat, simple as that so every pvper could have been on same playground.

But why? There’s nothing wrong with the way the current design works. At most it’s just player expectations that are a bit out of whack.

Let’s say you min/max and do both PvE and PvP. What could your PvP progression look like then?

Maybe you would progress like this:
1400->1700->2100->2400.
And if you only did PvP, maybe it would look like this:
1200->1500->1800->2200->2400.

Or you’re a veteran PvPer who has an established MMR. If you min/max PvE and PvP you might progress like this:
2100->2400->2700.

And if you only did PvP it might look like this:
1900->2300->2500->2700.

You’ll ultimately end up in the same place, because you’re going to get that full Conquest gear regardless of whether you mix in PvE gear along the way or not. All that the PvE gear does, is help you get there a little bit faster.

I mean, tomorrow the Arena field of competition will divide in two. Those who decide to farm PvE to get the best gear possible - they’ll get the highest ratings (excluding class balance).
Those who do only PvP, well they’ll be just below. They’re still going to gear up and increase in rating, they’ll just be a bit behind and below those who min/max like insane no-lifers. But the destination is the same. You can get the same high rating and BiS gear even if you don’t do any PvE. It’ll just take a while longer to get there.

You don’t have to do PvE. The need only arises if you’re driven by being the first to get a high rating.
But if you don’t like PvE, then just adjust your expectations. It’s okay to reach the high rating a little bit later. If you have the skill level, then you’ll get there regardless of whether you do PvE or not. :slightly_smiling_face:

It’s 10 weeks.

Last time i checked 2 hands were like 1800cp? So its like 3-4 weeks for bis wepon…

You can’t buy weapons until you get achieve, that “get 5000 conquest points”.

That was removed when i made that coment “it doesnt take that long” so now all u need is to get enough cp to buy your desired weapon, which is ~4weeks for 2 handers, unless they change their minds and increace cp cap

Ic, ic, just don’t read wow news in the middle of the night. But 4 weeks still makes us outcapping at honor, just 15k that you can’t spend at anything and can’t earn more

The highend raiding community is small aswell. If its about pleasing a majority only M+ should give the highest ilevel since they got the highest participation numbers by far.

I dont see why PvP shouldn’t be an equal fast gearing source - if some hall of fame raiders feels the need to PvP then - may it be like that. You must know the amount of hall of fame raiders even small compared to the PvP community.

I mean… so what? Why is a very small niche (hardcore mythic raiders) more important than the entire PvP community? Hardcore PvPers also get an advantaged by mythic raiding…

Yes, hardcore PvP-rs do myth raids with no questions. Their guilds even gear up them if needed in prior.

This was needed actually besides final reckoning nerf, but Imagine not touching rogues hahaha enjoy getting killed in 2 seconds :smiley: what A clown game

You can upgrade your honor gear to 184-ish starting tomorrow (gated by renown).

It aint perfect, but in those 4 weeks u will get few pieces from vault, where u will use less or no honor, so apart from honor caping it aint worst so far

One that scales up in steps, the higher your rating gets the more you receive or can get. As it used to be. But then we’ll have to adjust the upgrade system, shouldn’t have a double advantage.
