Are people stupid when they disagree with you? It’s a new definition of stupid, but very applicable.
Which completely defeats the purpose of hc.
Is there a purpose for HC ?
Yes, to have fun, alternately to make it to max level, and see how far else.
Having a HC TBC server as well as a HC Era server will surely no defeat this purpose, whereas restarting at 60 would.
If you use the word purpose there is only one answer, to make Blizz money.
You used the word “purpose”
I only replied. But I suppose this is one of your normal “angular attack argumentation-posts”, where you never answer with anything but a question going off on a tangent to the issue at hand. I’ll answer once, and if you do so again, expect no further reply.
Because of course the purpose of WoW seen from Blizz is to earn money for them.
But to do this, they need a consumer-side purpose as well. And this is what we’re discussing here.
And for me the purpose of playing WoW is to have fun. I furthermore suppose this to be the purpose for all players, because why play a not-fun game?
The purpose of HC - which specifically was the subject discussed here - is twofold: Fun, and make it to max level and possibly beyond wihtout dying.
Starting over from level 1 - going again - is an integral part of HC.
Not starting over when/if you die in HC defeats the second purpose, and for me the first one as well.
Hence suggesting that TBC HC starts at level 60 (if you reached this level/max level) defeats the purpose of HC.
How hard is it to survive at level 70 (which includes raiding) (and say for a year in time, 12 months) as opposed to survive the 60-70 levelling ?
You just have too much free time on your hand buddy.
Why do you think I advocate for Era servers? Because I haven’t that much time.
I have honestly no idea, also this is not relevant. If you want the permanent level 70 experience (including raiding) the normal Anniversary server is there for you.
In HC you will eventually die, and that’s what makes it fun, worthwhile, playworthy … this IS indeed the core of Hardcore.
What you wrote says you have no perspective, no abilitiy to compare things.
According to you. You do not know how long levelling from 1-60/70 takes me. You do not know how fun - or indeed the opposite - I find life at max. level to be, HC or not.
Have you ever once stopped to consider that different people have different yardsticks for fun?
I know what I find fun. Levelling in TBC Hardcore mode - Era servers.
