Why the hate toward Kyrians?

So seeing how night faes can open up the shortcut and acess the herbs in mists it seems unfair that we Kyrians cannot even summon our owl friend in The necrotic wake. Like what’s up with that?

It’s not night fae that can open up the shortcut.

Its Night Elves, Tauren, Herbalists and Druids.

My night fae VE Hunter can’t open it.

Regardless then if Paladins cannot use the Goliaths in the necrotic wake who can then?

Nobody.

  • Discharged Anima - Inflicting Arcane damage to nearby enemies and interrupt spellcasting every 1 sec for 8 sec.

  • Bloody Javelin - Inflicts Physical damage to all enemies it passes through and additional Physical damage every 2 sec for 16 sec. Enemies take increased damage for 16 sec.

  • Forgotten Forgehammer - Inflicts Physical damage and Stuns the target for 8 sec.

  • Discarded Shield - Activate to reduce damage taken by 50% for all allies within 8 yds for 6 sec.

Info from an earlier wowhead post from start of TWW S1

I think my alt is very low herbalism and still opens it. It’s kinda a gimme atm

Interactive Buffs Available in Season 1 Dungeons

There are a variety of interactive buffs available in the Season 1 Mythic+ Dungeons. These interactions are available to certain professions, classes, and races which we will detail below:

Ara-Kara, City of Echoes: Discordant Attendant

There are a few Discordant Attendant that are scattered throughout the dungeon. Interacting with these bodies requires the Tailoring profession with at least Level 25 . Interacting with the body will give the Tailor an on-use known as Silk Thread that can be used on mobs to stun them for 10 seconds.

City of Threads: Queen Ansurek Shadecasters

There are a few shadecasters throughout the dungeon projecting holograms of Queen Ansurek. Rogues, Priests, and Khaz Algar Engineers of at least Skill 25 can interact with these shadecasters to give players Stolen Power: a DPS, HPS, and Movement Speed buff!

The Stonevault: Imbued Iron Bar

Throughout the Dungeon are a few anvils containing an Imbued Iron Bar. Warriors, Dwarves, and Khaz Algar Blacksmiths of at least Skill 25 can interact with these anvils to grant players the Imbued Iron Energy buff for 10 minutes. This grants players increased Versatility!

Mists of Tirna Scithe: Overgrown Roots and Depleted Anima Seed

Like in Shadowlands, there are Overgrown Roots and Depleted Anima Seed interactions that give shortcuts, access to new buffs, and even checkpoints after completing certain bosses. These originally required members of the Night Fae Covenant, but it seems that Night Elves, Tauren, Highmountain Tauren, Druids, and Herbalists can still interact with these objects to assist the group!

Necrotic Wake: Interactive Weapons

Like in Shadowlands, there are a variety of interactive weapons for players to pick up throughout this dungeon that can aid in defeating certain mob packs. These weapons appear to be open to everyone .

The Items are:

  • Discharged Anima - Inflicting Arcane damage to nearby enemies and interrupt spellcasting every 1 sec for 8 sec.

  • Bloody Javelin - Inflicts Physical damage to all enemies it passes through and additional Physical damage every 2 sec for 16 sec. Enemies take 20% increased damage for 16 sec.

  • Forgotten Forgehammer - Inflicts Physical damage and Stuns the target for 8 sec.

  • Discarded Shield - Activate to reduce damage taken by 50% for all allies within 8 yds for 6 sec.

Kinda bias towards night faes then if they can open the stuff but kyrians and those who resemble it with classes and such it seems just unfair only one covenent still gets the love

Night faes cant do anything in mists.
It are night ELFS.

Well certain classes and professions can do what they used to but nothing for those who were Kyrians in Shadowlands

Nothing for night faes either. Or necrolords or venthyrs.

No faction from Shadowlands can do anything in the dungeons.

I’m Night Fae I can not do the skip in Mists.

Human ret paladin

In City of Threads, Engineers can pick up buffs from certain locations, and in Ara Kara Tailors can do stuff aswell (i don’t know the specifics from all the dungeons except the ones relevant to me) Punyelf linked the wowhead article earlier you can read that to find out if you happen to play a special spec/race/profession for a buff. and if not now, maybe in season 2

nah you just don’t listen So listen here. In shadowlands night faes had acess to the shortcut and to the herbalism area and Kyrian had acess to the goliaths. But only the night fae dungeon can acess their stuff

You’re just not listening to us, NIGHT FAE don’t get special treatment they removed that. For MISTS OF TIRNA SCAITHE its now NIGHT ELVES (The alliance race) TAUREN (The horde race) All Herbalists, and All Druids.

The game doesn’t care about your covenant in shadowlands. There are people that didn’t play shadowlands do you really think blizzard would force people to go back to that hellhole just to pick Night Fae as a covenant to open a shortcut in MOTS M+ of TWW?

I honestly love Kyrians, they have some amazing transmog options, some of it I currently use on my Earthen hunter and it fits perfectly. :sparkles:
