Why the hell do people use neural silencer?

In mythic plus dungeons?

You sure it’s the neural silencer and not just the blue punch card for the mechagon trinket? It works the same but alot of people don’t realize.

I think mostly because they got no other blue card yet.

Yes, that card gives neural silencer.

Ye but… are you asking why do people use the blue card or the engineering thing? If its the card it’s probably what Thokri says, if it’s the engineering gadget I dno why.

We wiped because of it, because I couldn’t grip someone. So we got a patrol during a boss because of it. They really should just disable that stupid stuff in mythic plus, people are already bad enough as it is and then to add to it I can’t prevent a wipe happening because someone is standing in a bad position because I can’t grip them away.

I see the Shadowlands pre-order contains the emperor’s new clothes.

Blizzard being Blizzard as usual.

They last quite a long time, maybe they forgot.

I have been in a raiding guild where the air head healer would drag anyone she saw fit all the time and various people used neural silencers so she could no longer stop them mid cast of a big attack.

I don’t think they really serve any purpose in Mythic Plus.

24 hours to be precise.

They can also be on the punchcard. I got a 414 warforged one and didn’t trade it out until a got a parachute one a month later.

Same with swap blasters pre-pulls, or making you fall to your death or into the boss.

I am the jester who does runes for guild, and so one of those bosses was Orgozoa and I always set my shop (jeeves if already done them, or myself when crafting) on a side, while they pull boss out so some new people can check their spots for the aoe.

And a priest kept griping me to the entrance. Always interrupting my already annoying ink-crafting. Sure as hell I did put neural silencer on.

And on old times we always had priests who thought griping their raid tank during pull timer was funny. Tank, that be me, did not find that funny. Then again on Legion M+ I always MDd mobs on said priests or on alt runs all thrash my aoe took - went on those priest alts.

By BfA they understood that I am not very fun-loving person mid pull timer. And also I noticed I am not very fun loving when I am gripped middle of eating.

If someone wears that trinket in raids, wtf are they doing?

That trashgnome trinket is worn for DPS. It is one of the best dps trinkets for brewmaster monks.

But this was a hunter. Not a brewmaster monk.

Well mostly because of those “funny” priests that use grip to annoy people.

Honestly.

You shouldn’t have to babysit people like that. I mean, I know you have the tool, but still…

they use it to avoid announces
