Why too people kick cause of a true chat?

lol hahaha i go kicked from a group on my lvling warrior cause a said first off stop running away so i can do aoe cause we got wiped from a massive group.

why do people take that so serious then kick me and now cause i got kicked i have to wait 30 minutes which it isn’t fair cause i didn’t leave the group i got kicked cause i said the true and they got really really butt hurt from it.

does anyone have that problem when your in a group and even the tiny thing you say in group chat you kicked… i mean why do people treat this game like its life as its not its just a mmo game to have fun and yet you get these people take this mmo way too serious and kick people cause they are saying something which can actually work and prevent a group wipe.

The fact you started your post with lol hahaha immediately suggests that you don’t care or have little interest in others. People take this game seriously and that is their choice, you cannot join a group who has a set way of playing and then complain of being kicked when you don’t follow their way of playing.

Next time try listening and following instructions and I guarantee you will be kicked less.

I’ve done loads of dungeons without issue 99.99% of the time, with the 0.01% being due to trolls.

Sounds like you’re the problem… more so with how to introduced your OP.

It’s not what you say, it’s how you say it. Try to think of the emotion you feel when you’re typing - you’re probably showing that emotion through your words, whether you like it or not.
“First of all” followed by complaints, especially if you didn’t say anything else (like hello) before that, implies you’re fed up and think ALL the things went wrong. Like you’re above everyone else. It sounds condescending. I’ve felt that way in a party where everything goes as wrong as it can, and the emotion I felt when writing tactics to the party was definitely condescension. I felt I was smarter, above, and frustrated that they didn’t innately know things that are simple to me without being explicitly told what those “oh-so-simple” things are. But that’s not fair, no one’s a mind-reader and no one’s responsible for the buildup of bad emotions we have from previous runs.

“I think that was too many mobs for us. I do good aoe, if you bunch the mobs up and keep them still I can aoe them all and do way more dps than if we just keep running.” Same message, much friendlier and you’re voicing your opinion without making others feel like they’re lesser humans than you.

Every group is a new one. No matter how many trolls you meet, the next people are not responsible for the previous ones. If you play so many dungeons that you statistically encounter more jerks, it means you could probably use a little break.

Can anyone translate? I have tried to read this three times and I just can’t figure it out.

The warrior went off alone? The warrior stuck with the group? The Warrior criticised the group in chat?

Aren’t warriors known for their mobile AoE?

It’s the “first off” part that I’m thinking about, what else was said, sounds like something nasty then said, “just kidding” afterwards. I think we are only getting one part of it.

What i got from it was that the tank was mass pulling and/or kitting, the warrior complained that he cant AoE and move…somehow and they dies probably to not having enough dps or overpulling (not clear), he got kicked after. Doesnt make sence to me either but the post on itself was fun riddle to solve anyway.

Oh I see. Thank you :grinning:

You just have to go with the flow. Some players can mass pull and others can’t. I’m a slow paladin. I will always take time to catch up to join in

If you started your conversation with your group with the same attitude I can see why they kicked you.

Isn’t that what every tank feels?.

I made an edited version for clarity. Hope I do your post justice, OP!

Lol! i got kicked from a group on a warrior that I was leveling, all because I said: “First off, stop running away so i can do AoE attacks!” since we got wiped from a massive group. [I suppose likely pulled by a mobile tank.]

Why do people take that so seriously then kick me? Now because i got kicked i have to wait 30 minutes, which it isn’t fair - I didn’t leave the group, i got kicked! All because i said the truth and they got really really butthurt from it.
