Why Tyrande is not finishing Azshara?

“With the destruction of the Well, the Night Elven capital of Suramar sunk beneath the waves, but the Highborne endured, thanks to the intervention of the Old God N’zoth who transformed them into the Naga. As for Azshara herself, no one truly knows how powerful she has became over the past 10,000 years, though during the War of the Ancients, it was stated that she was more powerful than any of the Burning Legion’s forces, save for Sargeras and his two lieutenants, Kil’Jaeden and Archimonde.”
Who knows if our victory in Nazjatar is real … It would be to easy …

We have killed awakened titan, our cheese knows no boundries!

Well, didn’t Malfurion near enough defeat Archimonde and forced him to teleport out? So, by proxy, he could be toe to toe with Azshara.

And Tyrande with the Night Warrior buff could do some serious damages.

Perhaps that is why they are no there, it would be to easy. Especially if Nathanos and his goons are there as they have god-tier powers as well.

Lets think about this from other point of view. Malfurion have already defeat Ashara 2 times. Blizzard also told that Tyrande now is much more stronger than Malfurion.

Now lets imagine the battle against Ashara, where Malfurion together with Tyrande cannot defeat Ashara, and had to ask Horde players to help. Ask for help those who have burned their home, and have murdered half of their civilization… That will be another humiliation of Night Elves leaders…

Well the whole war it’s because Azshara’s whispers and influence… They would understand…

You overestimate Malfurion and Tyrande here. Azshara is a tough nut to crack. I doubt we will kill her even.

Let her live, she is a good gal
Just…
… just hold the “Nazjatar is… FREEE!!!” please
Pretty please, with scary things on the top :confounded:

We killed Kil’jaeden and two Titans already. Azshara should be an Ant compared to then.

Azshara was at the same level of Power with KJ and Archimonde as the Legion invaded Azeroth for first time. Who knows how powerful she’s now.

Deathwing was also rather powerful and the recent Chronicles book simply demoted him into being Nzoth’s rabid dog.

At this point, wouldn’t take much of the original WotA lore at more face value than its necessary. Most of it has already been retconned.

And Azshara will apparently be vanquished by a ragtag of stranded shipwreck survivors in a single patch…

A shame really. I feel she deserved an entire expansion.

This probably sounds more negative than I intend to, but I wouldn’t be surprised if we actually were to kill her. I really hope we don’t.

Sargeras ain’t dead yet. And I have the feeling that Argus will return. Eventually.

In Legion, Nelfs where given less role, in the alliance Nelfs are used as target practice . So, what makes you think Blizz would give them special attention in 8.2 Azhara?

These Nelf have been ignored and stripped from their former ranks because of Blizz.

I hope WC4 comes with a different alternative path that would have a different story than Wow mmorpg.

Because if she was, elf players would have another meltdown.
“WHY TYRANDE NOT IN DARKSHORE REEE”
“WHY SHE HELP HORDE REEE”
“WHY SHE NO LEAVE ALLIANCE WHEN THE ENTIRE NIGHT ELF POPULATION SQUATS IN ELWYNN REE”
Basically, Blizzard is damned if they do and damned if they don’t.

What a horrible way to put it.
The Warfronts are fine the way they are, people will always limit their perception to what they find ‘‘acceptable’’.
Tyrande should be in Darkshore, however she did not make any other appearance beyond the scenario, there is no development.
If Nathanos and Greymane can be in 4 places at once so can Tyrande and Malfurion, this mentality that nothing pleases Night Elf fans is a joke, and you know it.
No one who has played WC3 would accept the portrayal of the Kaldorei in WOW.
The same people on forums keep ‘‘trolling’’ and making fun of Night Elf fans instead of actually noticing the inconsistency and accepting/supporting the criticism we offer.

Sweety-pie, if your not a Human fan or Sylvanas fan, you’ve had it, basically.

Yours, mine and everybody else’s - we’re the left-behinds.

False. The Darkshore Warfront is almost certainly going to end in a canon Kaldorei victory.

Azshara is clearly more of an enemy than any Horde member, except perhaps the Enemy of Life.

Bigger picture.

Nah, they just don’t really care enough or someone is stopping them from giving the night elves a decent portrayal without losing an arm and two legs.

This is especially true. i played Wc3, then read the War of the Ancients - gave me so much info on the kaldorei, and why they were as we saw them in WC3, what sort of mettle they had.

WC3 was momentous for that race, I loved it. And when i found out it was only part of a larger whole that WotA exposed and WOW was going to continue the story…I was sooo excited for the franchise. I expected the story for them in WOw to now finally show some real improvements as Wc3 was actually a start and not the end of their tale… they would band together, get better and become as amazing as they had been described in WotA and shown in WC3 (surely such sacrifice and loss would pay handsomely) - for their priests, their sentinels, their rangers, their druids, and the hope they would reclaim their fallen arcane legacy and restore it too alongisde their civilization - we would see a night civilizaiton develop and grow with their unique nature/arcane duality and their unique Moon Goddess, and Star focus.

Expectation Ran high

Sure they lost a lot in WC3, but they had lost even more in the sundering. It would be so exciting to see them after such a huge sacrifice, 10,000 years at it, honing their skills, developing, now finally free to come out of isolation and their sacred duty.

Rebuild, reclaim their magic, add mages and a redeemed arcane and demon hunters (whom i hoped would be exonerated) to there tally, eventually use the Well of Eternity and get their immortality back that way after learning from the hubris of trying to force things.

I so completely over thought them, thinking the developers shared the same passion I had for them. Their mysterious star culture we had little explanation off, Elune who being a goddess having a priesthood that used arcane spells too, and durids, how that all tied in to all the aspects of them.

Dev Interviews Promised and aAllued to so much more

i read the interviews about their creation - they were designed to be the best of both the dark elves (arcane) and the forest elves (nature) with unique bits all their own.

I waited, waited waited, hoping the incredible fantasy that was this group of elves would expand and develop. Classic was a start… i expected much more

I WAS SO UTTERLY AND THOROUGHLY DISAPPOINTED. Even when legion came and i was amazed at the night elf stuff they include, the shear lack of effort to tie in the existing group we knew to the experience of all they would have encounterd in the broken isles with the Legion, Suramar and the Farondis, not to mention the emeerald dream worgen coming out –

The Unhappy Realisation

but nothing. We got the Wardnes, i was pleased, def, the demon hunters too, great show, was over the moon with the nightborne - but the Sisterhood of Elune i expected to star in Suramr 7.1 stage and in the broken shore witht he Cathedral of Eterntal night - all that lore, even the encounters had night elf stuff, and the stories just abanoned them

To Argus, , the legion are the night elves biggest enemies, the race on Azeroth most tied to them, their story and last 10,000 years (as occuleth is written to say… “well before… everything” changed, and they are not hand in hadn with the Draenei, avenging Azeorth.

The disappointments outwieghed the pleasures. Then to give all the nightborne over to the horde as if to say, hey the best parts ot he night elves dark elf side are not for the fans who’ve waited for it… if you want to experience or roleplay it, you have to switch factions… FFS blizzard. I didn’t mind too much the nightborne being available to the horde, bu to annex them from the kaldorei to be enemies? Why not take a good portion of them like 2/3rds over to the kaldorei even change their forms to kaldorei so kaldorei nightborne aren’t confused and made to be separate from shal’dorei nightborne - or do a unique thing with them that they have people aligned to both factions of elves living in the city… but nothing like that.

Attempting to do justice for the kaldorei even if they had to give the nightborne modeil horde just smacked off we actually are just not as passionate for seeing this lore complete as you are.

The whole finishing off, felt like they were bored with doing ngiht elf stuff if it wasn’t in the horde and wanted other things to occupy their focus.

Darn it blizzard, after 14 years out of the limelight, and after such a great start to Legion, I really expected more, more in 7.2, more in 7.3, more in 8.1 and so much more in 8.2
