@adammdray @Schrei205 @Wowhead @WarcraftDevs Yes - sorry if my wording in the Wowhead article was unclear. Making a legendary won’t award the appearance, but you’ll be able to mog over the items like you would any other. Later in Shadowlands, there will be a way to earn the full set appearances.
My speculation, comming from doing Torghast.
yeah its sad that it wont award the appearance becuase i have like 2-3 parts that i want to use
I can kind of understand why they prevented it for now, as youd forced to make a severe load of r1 legendaries that youd never use for the whole set.
who cares anyway if i want to waste soul ash for this 
i want to use chest piece for an op transmog and i cant
